How it ended

Chapter 26

Francesca's POV-
I watched as our science teacher points a gun at Taylor's head. I hear Taylor groan in annoyance. "Way to be saved everyone!" she says, sarcastically rolling her eye in the end. I giggled quietly.

I want to know why the hell he did it! "Take one step and the girl gets it!" Mr. Castro threatens. I can see his eyes scanning the police officers. He moves back so his back is against the wall. I notice a tiny wall. Not very noticeable actually.

An eye pops out and I notice it's piercing blue color. Sapphire. It couldn't be Samantha or Alec, they were right next to me. I nudged Lucas in the ribs and adverted my eyes towards the window. He scrunches his face in confusion. I point to the window and he looks towards it.

I notice Sapphire lowering down a taser, near his arms. She presses a button and Mr. Castro gets electrocuted. Then I see Taylor get electrocuted. I start yelling stop.

Sapphire stops and I push pass the police officers. I grab Taylor's arm and lifted her up slowly. They are stupid! "You electrocuted her you idiot!" I hiss. Lucas pushes me to the side gently and picks her up bridal style.

"Great she's out cold!" Samantha says, throwing her hands in the air. "Shut up and let me get her to the hospital," Lucas hisses, pushing past us. Lucas was the worst out of all of us. He wouldn't eat, shower, nothing! He hasn't even changed!

"That boy needs to shower," I say. Samantha nods. "His words were 'I will not shower or do anything because Taylor hasn't showered or done anything'" Samantha says, air quoting Lucas's words. We laugh.

We put our arms around each other. We both watched as a police officer handcuffs an out cold teacher. I notice a lady in a cell. I let my arm fall from Samantha's shoulder. I walked over to the cell.

She looked up at me with wide eyes. "W-who are you?" she says. I stare at her brown eyes. She had dirt on her face and her hair was a mess.

"Hi, I'm Francesca. I'm here to help you. May I ask how long have you been in here? And when was the last time you've eaten? What was the last thing you've eaten?" I asked. She gulped and started shaking.

"I-I've been in here for 3 months now. The last time I've eaten was 3 weeks and the last thing I've eaten was lasagna," she says. I gasped. That's too long! I went over to the biatchaga of a teacher and looked for a key. I found it in his shoe. Gross.

I unlocked her cell and helped her up. "Were gonna get you cleaned up. Were gonna make you eat. Were going to the Tate's house. There very nice people. I'm sure you can stay there for a week or two till' you can get back on your feet. I can go ask now because there right outside," I say. She smiles but shakes her head.

"It's fine dear. I need to go free my daughter and son. We have a house of our own. I can go and ask my personal help to do it," she says. I was about to protest but she shakes her head no. "Your a good young lady. Whoever you boyfriend is, their very lucky to have you. And besides, my hired help can take care of me. You have a good heart. So does that Taylor girl and your friends. Never lose them," she says, gripping my hand. I nod.

"I won't. I promise. They were the best thing that has ever happened to me," I say. She smiles. We walked over to an ambulance car thing. We set her down on a stretcher. She sits on it while the paramedics take care of her. I watch as they check her pulse and blood.

"Mom!" a small voice exclaims. I turn around to see a little girl, maybe around 10 run to the woman. "Isabella!" she says, hugging her. I smile. Then a boy, maybe around our age, run to the woman too.

"Mom!" he says. I watch as the family re-unites. "By the way Francesca. I'm Karen," she says. I nod and smile. Karen. She's a wonderful mother.

"I'm gonna leave you guys," I say, awkwardly. They smile and nod as they hug. I start to walk away when I was lifted off the ground. I look up to see Alec carrying me bridal style.

"What was that for?" I asked. Then he did the one thing I never imagined him to do. He kissed me. He let me go and put his hands on my face. I kissed him back.

"Yo! Lovebirds! Stop kissing and let's go to the damn hospital!" I hear Samantha call. I pull back quickly and flipped Samantha off. She just laughs it off. I just looked him in the eye and smiled.

"I love you," He says. I stare at him in shock. Too shocked to move. I probably looked like a fish out of water.

"I love you. Every single day, my love for you gets stronger and stronger. I can't stop thinking about you. Your so adorable, cute, beautiful, funny, smart. Words can't describe how much I love you. I bet you don't love me either. I'm just like a brother to you. You know what? Just forget I ever said that," He says. He spins on his heels and starts walking away with his head down.

I shook my head from my shock and ran to him. I tackled him down and we landed on the ground. I was on top of him, making it look like I'm straddling him. I groaned in pain. "I thought it'd be more romantic," I say in a hoarse voice. He chuckles. I look him in the eye.

"And I love you," I say with a big smile on my face. He cups my face and kisses me. "WOOHOO! GET THE GIRL ALEC!" I hear Bradley and Chase shout. We pull away and got up.

I dusted my clothes off and we walked to the car hand-in-hand. We got in the car and I sat on his lap. I rested my head on his shoulder. He kissed my temple and I smiled.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks. I nod and smiled. "I would be honored to be your ugly faced girlfriend," I say with as much enthusiasm.

Hello people! There will be one more chapter till' the epilogue. *cue the tear works* I may not have gotten a lot of reads or a lot of votes, but who cares! This was based on my imagination. Parts of this book is true.
