Chapter Five-What are Mysayés?

Leo and I orbed to the Manor. "Whoa." I say as I fail to keep my balance. "I need to get used to that."

"Yeah, you'll get it." Leo says grabbing my arm to steady me.

"OW!" I yell in pain.

"What happened?!" Phoebe asks as her and her sisters come running downstairs. I glance at my arm.

"Oh." Paige says. Piper comes toward me.

"We'll get that healed up for ya. So you meet some demons did you now?" Piper questioned as she put her hands on my shoulders.

"Ow." I wince.

"Leo what attacked her?" Prue asked.

"I don't know. I've never seen them before. Courtney, what did they say to you." Leo exclaimed.

"Um, can I get something it stop the pain, then I'll tell you. It kinda hurts...." I explain.

"Oh yeah." Leo says. He comes over to me and hovers his hands over my arm, then my shoulder blade. Then after a few seconds, everything stopped hurting.

"How did you do that? How did we get here? Leo, what are you?" I asked shocked.

"Um. I'm a white-" He started.

"Courtney, Leo will explain later, but right now demons are coming to get you. We need to know what happened so you can be safer in better time." Phoebe says.

"Okay. Well..." I explained everything that happened, what they looked liked. "They said they were called, Mysayés."

"Mysayé?" Piper questioned.

"Yeah. Um, what did they hit me with? It was like a ball, but it really hurt."

"From the burns, it was a fireball. It's a power some demons have." Paige explained.

"Oh, okay. Well, how do we find out more about them?" I ask.

"Um, well." Phoebe said looking around at everyone else.

"A book." Prue says.

"A book? Like a book with random definitions of demons?" I ask sceptically.

"There is more then just that. There are spells and other magic stuff." Paige answers.

"Hum. Okay cool. Let's check it out then!  Find out why they're after me, and what they can do." I say enthusiastically. They look around at each other, then nod.

"Okay, let's go. It's in the attic." Piper says getting up.

"Okay it says here, 'Maysayés are demons who have the power of fireballs, and shimmering.'" Piper explains.

"Shimmering. Is that some type of weapon?" I ask. Everyone kinda laughed or smirked at my comment.

"No, it's kind of like how Leo brings you here, but with out the orbs. They just kind of 'shimmer'." Prue answers.

"Oh okay. Speaking of which... Leo, what are you again?" I ask.

"Um." He looks around at everyone." I'm a WhiteLighter. We are kind of like Garden Angels to guide and help out witches. That's how I transported us is by orbing, and how I healed you is by one of the powers I have as a WhiteLighter."

"Oh. Ok. Um. Cool." I respond. "Is there anyway to protect myself from them? The Mysayés I mean."

Piper goes back to the book. "No. But there are some spells and stuff to make them back off a bit."

"What about a vanquish? Anyway to do that? We still don't know why they are after Courtney." Phoebe says.

"Calm down Phoebe! Easy vanquish. Ugh, we need pigs feet again. I hate working with those." Piper shivers.

"PIGS FEET?!" I say disgusted.

"Um, yeah. Some potions have weird ingredients in them. Anyway, let's see here." Paige says as she glances over Piper's shoulder. "They are like a type of bounty hunter, but a higher up demon as well."

"I've never heard of that before." Prue says. "And that's saying a lot, I've been dead, and once you've been dead, you've seen everything. Well I guess not EVERYTHING."

"It also says that they work for a higher up demon too." Piper states. "Bel-" She pauses.

"What." Phoebe asks. Then she walks over to read the book, and her eyes go wide. "They work for BELTHAZOR?!

"Who's Belthazor ? And should I be scared because you all look scared!" I exclaim.

"Long story short. I dated him, he turned human, then the most powerful demon, then we vanquished him." Phoebe explains quickly.

Piper glares at Phoebe. "Yeah, more or less." She turns to me. "He is trapped in a alternate dimension."

"So how are these demons taking orders from him then? Wait what?! Phoebe! You dated him?" I question.

"Um, yeah. Sooooo, anyway. I don't know how they are, but we are going to find out!" Phoebe states quickly.

"Right... Okay, so I don't really want to die any time soon, so what's this vanquishing potion?" I ask.

"Okay. Phoebe, you and I will start on the potion, and Prue, you get the ingredients that we are missing. Leo, Piper, and Courtney will figure out more about the demons and stuff like that." Paige says.

"Sounds like a plan." Prue says as they all walk out of the attic to do their part. Leaving Piper, Leo, and I to find out more.
