Quick Note: I know I'm the worst person ever for not posting in so long, oh and yes I'm still alive lol. Anyway please refresh yourself on the last chapter or two if the recap below doesn't rejog your memory, I know it's been a while. And thanks so much if you put up with my foolishness and are still reading!!! This is just a quick filler chapter by the way for the real madness to begin.RECAP: Kylie moves in with her best friend Levi, (who she eventually becomes romantically involved with) because her dad is an unfit parent. Levis older brother, Tyler, moves back into the house after being away for a few years and the chemistry between him and Kylie is evident. Levi eventually cheats on Kylie while he's away at this football camp, driving her directly into Tyler's arms. In the last chapter, Tyler throws Kylie a major birthday party and after things heat up, Tyler leaves, claiming that he'll come back when Kylie is sober. They have a night full of passion after Tyler returns later that night.... Or does he?
::Kylie's POV::
I rubbed my burning eyes, as the bright rays of sun made their way into the room. There was a constant pounding in my head and I gently massaged my temples to try and relieve some of the pain. To my dismay, it didn't work and I took a deep breath before sitting up and placing my palm on my forehead.
I would never drink again. I made a vow that morning that I would never, ever drink again in my life.
The light chirping of birds outside made my hangover seem tens times worse and I cursed them for their inconsiderate tweeting.
"Ughhhhhh," I let out an exasperated sigh, upset with myself for not knowing my limits.
I looked over to my right to see a Tyler-less bed. So he just left in the middle of the night after we had sex? Typical boy, I thought and scrunched up my face.
My feet managed to find their way to the floor and I stumbled over to the dresser. Pulling out a silk robe to cover my naked body, I couldn't help but take note of my appearance in the mirror. I had dark, thin circles under my eyes and my hair was disgustingly tangled.
"Wow," I said as I put the robe on. I grabbed a random hair tie lying on the floor and put my hair in a low ponytail.
I opened the bedroom door and made it out to the kitchen. I winced in slight pain as I walked, remembering last night. I smiled to myself, touching my lips.
I opened the refrigerator only to find a small tub of butter and a bottle of ketchup. A blank expression made its way onto my face and I huffed in exhaustion.
Then, the door opened and I saw Tyler come through with a bunch of iHop bags in his hands.
"Good morning beautiful," he said casually and I rolled my eyes.
"Mhm, you better have had a good reason to have left me after last night," I said, giving him a quick peck and snatching the bags away from him.
He smiled. "Well you were a little wild."
"Oh don't act like you don't like it," I said with a smirk and he chuckled.
I placed the bags onto the kitchen counter and started devouring the food. Six strips of bacon, three pancakes, a full omelet, and an entire bottle of orange juice disappeared in about ten minutes.
I smiled in satisfaction as I felt Tyler's arms wrap around my waist. I felt sparks travel throughout my entire body and it was so strange because they were way more electrifying than the ones that I felt last night. Maybe it was because I was drunk or something. I shrugged it off and just enjoyed the moment.
