:: Tyler's POV ::
I reluctantly moved Kylie's leg from around my waist, trying not to make a single sound. As soon as I touched her leg, she shuffled and I stopped all movement. I looked over at her face and fell in love with her all over again. She was perfect. Her hair was messy, her cheeks were red and I was reminded once again that I'd do anything for her.
I sighed before moving her head from on top of my arm and right after doing so, I wished that I hadn't.
"Mmm," she moaned tiredly. "Where are you going?" Her voice was croaky and extremely sexy.
"I have some things I need to do," I whispered, kissing her on the cheek.
She looked at me with sad eyes and I knew exactly what she was thinking. "I'm not going anywhere," I said gently, grazing my thumb across her jaw. "I promise."
She nodded slowly before closing her eyes and drifting back off to sleep. Her hand was right under her head and I could see she was still wearing the bracelet I made her from the night before. Sure it was cute, but I didn't want her walking around with a wilted plant on her wrist all day. I would really get her something nice.
:: Kylie's POV::
I slowly woke up, but kept my eyes closed as a cheesy grin appeared on my face. I knew that the first thing I'd see would be Tyler and you could say I was a little excited. I knew I was exceptionally stubborn, but I was a little tired of always fighting with him at this point. I didn't have the energy and I sure as hell didn't have the strength. For some reason this morning I felt incredibly sick and honestly I didn't want to get out of Tyler's bed but hopefully his face would cheer me up, like it often always did.
I opened my eyes cautiously and felt a shower of disappointment when I saw he wasn't next to me. I knew this was the first time that we'd slept in the same bed in a couple of months, but usually he'd always stay until I woke up.
I looked to the restroom and noted that the light was on. Maybe he was in there. I forced myself out of bed and made my way to the door, but once again, I was let down. He wasn't in there either. Figuring that it'd be smarter to just see if his car was outside rather than searching throughout the entire house, I peeked out of the window and that's when I pieced it all together. He wasn't lying next to me because he wasn't even here. I'd completely forgotten that he'd left earlier this morning. I was half asleep so I couldn't really remember the entire conversation but bits and pieces of him telling me he had some things to take care of, him promising to come back and finally him kissing my cheek came flooding back into my memory
"Uggghhhhhhhh," I exaggerated before pouting. I looked over to the alarm clock and noted that I had less than thirty minutes before I had to leave the house for school. Thank god it was Friday and we didn't have practice because I felt horrible. Hopefully, after a little time passed, I would feel better.
I made my way over to the door and swung it open and once I did, all the breath in my lungs vanished.
I cleared my throat awkwardly and shut the door behind me as Levi watched from the other side of the hallway. To say that this was the most embarrassing event of my life was a complete understatement. I was caught red-handed by my ex-boyfriend, coming out of his brother's room in nothing but an oversized t-shirt?!?!!
"Good morning," I mumbled.
He didn't respond and the look on his face read total shock, but technically it wasn't what it looked like right? He probably thought that Tyler and I had some type of late night booty-call but that wasn't the case! Not this time at least...
