::Kylie's POV::
"I'll see you tomorrow?" Amie asked me.
"Sure," I said and hugged her. She continued to walk towards the front exit while I stopped at my locker.
When I'd opened it, my eyes widened at the huge bouquet of white roses.
I pulled out the card that came along. "I really am sorry. Please forgive me. I can't go another moment without being able to talk to you," I read the card aloud.
"And I can't," I heard Levi's voice from behind me.
I pulled out one the roses and smelled it before turning around to face him. My eyes closed as I enjoyed the sweet fragrance.
"You're an idiot, you know that don't you?" I asked him.
He nodded. "I do."
"Well stop, because I'm not giving you anymore chances after this. Okay?" I asked him. I hated to forgive him, but I couldn't help it at this point. I was still mad but the anger wasn't as strong as how much I wanted to be in his presence again. We'd been not talking for too long.
His lips curved into a smile before his hand slid into mine. He kissed me on the cheek and then hugged me. Thank you," he whispered into my hair.
"How was your day?" He asked as we started to walk towards the exit. Our hands were intertwined, swinging in the air carelessly together.
"Aced all my tests, so pretty good," I said and smiled. "How was yours?"
"It started off horrible, but great, now that I'm with you."
I smiled at his comment as we approached my car. He always knew what to say and when to say it. As we stood at my car, he didn't let go of my hand.
"Why don't you come over my house today?" Levi asked .
"Because I have my own," I said. I looked down and started to play with his hand. It was massive compared to mine and was capable of so much more strength than mine would ever be.
"Then, why don't I come over?" He suggested.
I thought for a second. My dad didn't come home until about 11:30 every night so why not? The alternative was being alone, which from my experience, was never fun. Plus we'd just made up and I didn't want to say no to him already.
"Okay," I looked up and smiled at him. His brown eyes shone so beautifully in the afternoon sun, I could have stayed there forever with him.
"I have to stop by my house first," He told me. "My mom apparently has something important to share with me."
"Well, meet me at my house whenever you finish doing what you have to do," I said.
Levi nodded just before opening my door for me and kissing my hand. Such a gentleman.
::Levi's POV::
I pulled off and headed to my house. Hopefully, whatever my mom needed wouldn't occupy my time for too long. I was just so happy that Kylie had forgiven me and I wanted to spend as much time with her as I could. I promised myself I wouldn't mess this up again and most importantly, I'd promised her.
After speeding into my driveway, I got out of my car and headed inside.
I opened the front door to see my mom talking to--
"Little brother," He said with a sly grin and walked up to me.
"Tyler," I said knowingly. My heart literally stopped beating from shock. Tyler was a leech that I'd been relieved of for a few years and now he was back. Question was, how long would he be staying?
