The Socs... I hated them for what they did to Johnny. He had told me all about him getting beat up. Apparently it was a worse beating than that of his parents, and that was saying something.

"Hey Greaser scum," Bob spat. I knew him from school. I don't think Ponyboy and Johnny knew him though...

All Pony did was roll his eyes at him.

"You know what a Greaser is?" Bob asked mockingly.

"What?" Pony replied.

"White trash with greasy hair," Bob smirked.

"Oh yeah? You know what a Soc is?" This time Pony smirked.

"What?"

"White trash with Mustangs and madras," Pony spat. And without saying anything, Bob and his gang completely attacked Pony and brought him over to the fountain in the middle of the park.

"Ponyboy!" I called out, but it was too late because one of the Socs had grabbed me and was pulling off Johnny's jacket.

"(Y/N)!" Johnny screeched, but a Soc got to him first and pushed him down.

"Get off me!" I kicked him right in the shin. However, my victory was soon a loss because that same Soc almost knocked me out in one punch.

I lay there, lifeless on the ground. My ears were ringing and I had no idea what was going on. I could barely hear Ponyboy screaming and drowning in the background.

"P-Pony...J-John...ny" managed to escape my lips. Just then a dark figure approached me and picked me up. That's when I lost all consciousness.

When I woke up I was being held by Johnny. He was crying and mumbling to himself: "Please don't be dead."

"J-Johnny... I'm... I'm not dead..." these words slipped passed my lips ever so slightly.

"Oh thank god..." Johnny gave a sigh of relief.

"Are you and Pony okay?" I started to sit up, and when I did I noticed a pool red stuff... The hell!?

"Johnny..."

"Yeah?"

"Who's blood is that!? Please tell me it isn't yours or Ponyboy's!" by now I was freaking out.

"Johnny! What's going on!? What happened to the Socs??" Pony, who had also been unconscious, sprung up when he also saw the pool of crimson.

"I... I stabbed 'im...." Johnny started to tremble in fear. "I think... I think I killed 'im..."

"J-Johnny... No way..." I grabbed my head in disbelief.

"I'm sorry! They hurt you and they were gonna kill Pony," Johnny said.

"I think I'm going to be sick!" Pony called out.

"It's okay Pony, I won't look at ya," Johnny said and looked away.

Pony ran over to the Mary-Go-Round and about threw up his stomach.

"Johnny... Are you okay? Because we need to get out of here and now," I was serious. The cops would be here any minute looking for us three.

"Y-Yeah... I'm alright... Yeah... L-Let's get out of here...."Johnny was still shaking with fear. I felt so bad. I couldn't believe Johnny had it in him to kill someone.

After that we got the hell out of there. We immediately ran across town to the old train station. It looks like we were on our way to Jay Mountain once again. We did exactly what Johnny and I had done before except this time we had one more person and a lot less money. However, we still had some canned food up at that old church.

"Come on! They are going to see us if you don't come quickly!" Pony loudly whispered to me and Johnny.

"Sorry, sorry! We're coming," I apologized and we were on the move once again. Man, hopping on those train cars without making any noise sure was a challenge. We had to wait a little while before we could move around because there were guys checking train cars for hobos. Once the train was going again we started adjusting to where we were most comfortable. Johnny held me close and Ponyboy leaned on Johnny's shoulder. We were pretty quiet the whole way there until it was our stop.

"Come on you guys, this is our stop," Johnny told us. "Wake up Ponyboy," I guess Pony had drifted off to sleep on our way here.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm up," Pony said and then we all three jumped off the train. I guess we didn't really think this through very well because we didn't have any supplies at all. Like, not even a blanket to sleep on. All we had was the canned food in the church and about 30$ left. Johnny didn't have the other money with him. The 30$ was the emergency money he always kept in his shoe in case something crazy like this ever happened.

Johnny grabbed my hand tightly as we walked up the hill leading to the church. The walk to the church was pretty quiet. I guess we didn't have a lot to say to each other after what had happened. Man, this place. This is the place Johnny and I really connected... The place I lost my virginity. This is the place. I will never look at Jay Mountain or churches the same way ever again. Churches are suppose to be places of God, but here we sinned on the grounds of this church. Oh well I guess... I don't believe anyway. I kind of stopped believing in any higher power after my mom died. But hey, it's still a nice thought to pray sometimes you know? It makes it feel like someone is actually listening to what I have to say for once.

"Well, this is the place. Shall we head in?" Pony asked.

Johnny and I just kind of looked at each other, held our hands closer together and stepped in the church. I know I promised I wouldn't get emotional... But damn...This place brought back so many memories, even though we only stayed here for a couple of days. I wonder how long we would stay here this time? Would it be days? Weeks? Months? Years? No. Surely someone would find us before then. It makes me sad to think about it, but thinking about it realistically means that we are eventually going to get caught. When we do, Johnny might die and Ponyboy and I would be put in prison, even though we're only minors.
