"WHOO!!! Alright!!!" I cheered as we raced down the road "New record bud!" I cheered as I hopped out of SpeedDaemon, we're seeing if he can break his own record and well.... He did!
'Shouldn't we head back to base its getting late." He said telepathically "Later I wanna go racing, you up for it?!"
I asked excitedly as he sighed opening the door and I got in "Alright let's go!" I said as I fist pumped, I'm in a good mood today and tend to be more of an night owl so keeping me locked up in base isn't going to help
We pulled up to the track idling his engine, but a red Austen Marten had to pull up and rain on our parade. He already knew we had to lose him and as soon as the flag dropped we where off like a bullet and by off I mean off track with a con nipping at our tailpipe!

We had gotten a few miles out into the desert before stopping, KO skid to a stop as well "Going to surrender flesh bag?" He asked as he transformed and I got out of SpeedDaemon "Not quite." I said with a smirk as SpeedDaemon transformed behind me full battle mode
Heavy led steps could be herd behind us as I turned around to see Screamer and a group of vhicons "Well its surrender or death human your choice." Screamy snarled with a smirk
"Death or cake?" I asked randomly "What?" He asked sounding confused before Speed clocked him in the jaw "I love distractions." I sighed as speed tore through the troupers, and me dogging KO's hands as we played cat and mouse
We both stopped and looked up as we herd the horrible sound of metal being crushed
And what I saw just about killed me.... StarScream stabbing SpeedDaemon in the back dropping to his knees and then falling down. I felt my heart shatter as his energon spilled on the cold ground sparking could be seen as Screamers hand was pulled out
"No..." I whispered as StarScream strutted over to me "Well human it seams your only protection has failed you miserably, your only option now is to give up." He cooed cockily
I ran over to Speed putting my helm on his as his optics flickered "D-don't cry s-sweet spark." He said with a shaky breath, I didn't even realize I was crying and right now I didn't care as his breath shallow as I kissed his helm "Sweet dreams, love ya." I whispered as love was sent through the bond before it broke and he took his final breath
"Oh I'm leaking lubricant." Screamy mocked as KO look at me like he understood this pain
"You will pay with your spark." I growled

The girls eyes began to glow a electric blue as red seemed to line them as a circle of red energy formed around the girl
The mechs stumbled back as the red exploded into a pillar around her as the light died there she stood her armor a shade of grey and blood red
"T-THATS IMPOSSIBLE!! ORGANICS CAN'T DO THAT!!!" The diver mech screeched as a bow formed in her hand "And you can't possibly be this foolish." She growled as she pulled back the bowstring an arrow of energy
"Now die." She said in a dark tone as he screamed transforming and takeing off as she let go the arrow hitting him in his thruster as he went spiraling down
A ground bridge opened behind her as the doctor retreated when the team stepped out freezing when they saw their fallen comrade
"He died in vain." She growled as she walked over to the prime "I disagree." He stated as he picked her up "He vowed to protect you therefore he did not die in vain for you are still alive." Spoke the prime

"And yet I failed to snuff the spark of the one who ended his." I said I was angry, sad, annoyed but most of all there was an overwhelming feeling of failure, failure to protect him I loved him like a brother possibly a lover we didn't have enough time to tell
I hadn't even realized I was back at base until Ratchet shined a light on my eyes "Why are you doing that?" I asked annoyed as I swatted the light away
"You weren't responding to anything else, I wanted to make sure your sill functional." He said as he turned to his computer
I sighed as I was picked up "You alright girly?" I a voice asked softly as I was carried into Jazz's room
"Fine I just..... can you go into your holoform?" I asked as my new armor was replaced in a glow of blue for my regular clothes, right now I don't really care.
A pair of warm arms wrapped around me as I leaned into the touch right now I just needed to feel safe, to feel loved and well to just cry a little.

And that's what she did curling into the mechs warm embrace as she let the tears flow while he rubbed soothing circles on her back
"Let it all out I won tell, you're safe with me girly and I won't let anyone hurt cha ever again."
