This chapter is a bit graphic. This is just a brief warning. Enjoy :)

"Riley, I did something very terrible." I said as my voice became brittle, tears streaming down continuously.

"What is it?" She said. "Did you steal something?"

"No."

"Did you steal any money?"

"No."

There was a sudden pause, then Riley lowered her voice and said, "Did you kill somebody?"

"No!" I exclaimed. "I-I cheated."

"On a test?"

"On Jamie. I cheated on her."

Riley sighed. "No you didn't."

"Yeah, I did."

"No you didn't. How could you did that?"

"I don't know!" My hands were trembling as to what to do. I could imagine what Jamie's reaction was going to do.

"Who did you cheat on her with?"

"Nick..."

"Rachael!" Riley shrieked.

"What?!"

"Why did you do that? You know he has a girlfriend. But most importantly you know you have a girlfriend yourself!"

"Well, me and Jamie had an argument yesterday and I was pissed off. I went to Nick's house and we talked. We started kissing and then it went on from there."

"You think you two having an argument is an excuse for opening your legs to him like that?"

I didn't respond. She made me think about it. After all we've been through, how could I do that to Jamie? I feel so disgusted for doing something like that.

"What were you thinking, Rae? How are you going to tell Jamie?"

"I'm not."

"Yes you do. You have to. She's going to find out one way or another."

"You want to know what I'm afraid of more?" I placed my hand on my belly. I didn't use protection, so it was a possibility I could pregnant. "That I may be pregnant."

"You should go to the hospital and take a pregnancy test."

I thought about it, but then I knew I was unemployed. "I don't have money like that. Do you know how much that stuff costs?"

"Yeah. But it's better to know than to find out. And if you are pregnant, then you're going to have to tell Jamie."

"But I can't. It's going to hurt her."

"It's going to hurt her more if you don't tell her and she finds out from someone else, Rachael. It's better to be safe than sorry."

Thinking about it made me start to weep into my pillow as I laid in bed, hopelessly thinking about the consequences. "I just don't know what to do, Riley."

"I'm sorry. But there's nothing I can do to help you any further other than to tell the truth. I can't decide things for you, only you can." Riley said in a low tone. "I'm going to go now and leave you alone for a while. Just think about what you want to do and you do it. I just hope it's the right one."

What was I suppose to do? I didn't want Jamie to come home a month later and see that my body looked different if I was pregnant. I couldn't tell her. I hate lying to people, but it wasn't the right time to tell the truth.
I wasn't going to get a pregnancy test because then Jamie would find out through the medical bill.
