"Everybody this is Maddy Gaul she is new here and I want you all to make her feel welcome" said Mr. Harris. "Maddy take a seat next to Mr. Lahey in the back." "Hi, I'm Maddy" Maddy said. "Hi, I'm Isaac." He said not making any eye contact with her. The only thing she could see was his perfect cheek bones and curly dirty blonde hair. "Is there something wrong?" Maddy said. "No, it's just pretty girls don't usually talk to me. Like ever. I'm not really anyone's type" he said actually making eye contact with her. "Well you don't have to be nervous or anything around me. I'm new and nervous too. I know how you feel." She said putting her hand over Isaac's attempting to make him feel better. All Isaac did was nod and give her a boyish cute smile. "I'm sorry if that was awkward." Maddy said trying not to turn red. "Hey don't worry about it, it actually made me feel better" Isaac said.
*Bell Rings*
"Alright, everyone. Tomorrow we will do a partner exercise so we can get more comfortable with our lab partners." Said Mr. Harris. Maddy was just about to leave when Isaac grabbed her hand and pulled her back to him. "Hey, I was just wondering if you wanted to sit with me and my friends at lunch? We can get to know each other a little better." Isaac said continuing to hold Maddy'a hand in his. "Um, ya sure. I'd love to. What class do you have next? I have French." She said slowly getting more nervous as Isaac holds her hand. "So do I." Isaac said slowly while he looked deep into her eyes. Maddy could feel her heart melting. She didn't know Isaac very well, but she had a feeling in her gut that he was different. Maddy couldn't help but fall for him a little.
POV of Maddy
Isaac, oh he is so amazing. He's nice, cute, funny, tall, loving, and he was so gentle even when he pulled me aside. He was holding my hand and squeezing it a little. It was like he liked me. I know I just met him, but Isaac is so special. I don't really know what to do right now.
