Chapter 9

POV of Narrator

Maddy and Isaac woke up the next morning and went to school. "Boyd is dead, and Cora is probably next!" Stiles said talking to Scott. "Nothing will happen to Cora. We just need to be on top of everything." Scott replied. "On top of everything? Scott everything we find something it's to late because someone has already died! I seems like we need help." Stiles said. "From who?" Scott asked. Stiles just looked over at Allison. "From the Argent's?" Scott said. "If you haven't noticed Scott, Allison's dad always seem to actually be on top of things. Not just climbing to the surface and running out of time like us." Stiles said. "I don't want Allison getting hurt." Scott said. "I'm pretty sure she can take care of herself." Stiles said. "Probably, I just don't want to risk it." Scott replied. He looked at Allison. She ignored his loving look and walked up to Maddy. "Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to hangout today?" Allison asked her. "I don't know if I can. Ill text to later about it." Maddy replied. Allison smiled, nodded , and walked to her locker. Stiles looked at Maddy and waved. Maddy ignored it and walked away. Isaac went to sit by Scott and Stiles. "Is Maddy mad at me?" Stiles asked Isaac. "I don't think so" Isaac replied.

Text From 'Stiles Stilinski': "Maddy? Are you mad at me? I don't think I did anything but I still don't want you to be mad. Please talk to me."

4 Missed Calls from 'Stiles Stilinski'

Maddy had seen all of these thinks when we got home from school. "The truth is Im not mad at Stiles, I just am worried." Maddy told Isaac while they were on the phone. "Why are you worried?" Isaac asked. "I just don't want him to get hurt. He's my best friend." Maddy said. "Oh" Isaac said replying really short. "Are you mad?" Maddy asked. "No I'm perfectly fine." Isaac said. "I have to go, love you bye." Isaac said hanging up. Maddy didn't even get the chance to say anything.

POV of Maddy

I don't exactly know why I was mad at Stiles. He didn't do anything wrong and I should have thought over what I was doing before I did it. I guess it was just the stress of everything I have recently found out.

POV of Narrator

"Why don't Cora and Stiles date?" Maddy asked. "Um, because one Derek would murder him and two because he is completely hung up on Lydia." Scott said. "It would just never work out." Isaac popped in. "That's to bad cause they would be really cute." Maddy said. Isaac and Scott looked over at Stiles and imagined the relationship. "No no" Isaac and Scott said at the same time. The three proceeded to class. When they got there they saw Sherif Stilinski. "Hey Maddy, can we talk in the hall for a bit?" He asked. "Yeah sure." Maddy said following him out to the hall. "Your parents... Do you know where they are?" He asked. "No, the last time I talked to them they moved to London." Maddy replied. "Well, they didn't move to London. They, they were in prison... For the murder of your brother. A few days ago they escaped and tried to take a plain to England. The plane crashed. Maddy your parents are dead. I'm sorry." Sherif Stilinski said. "W-what?" Maddy said stuttering her words. "I'm so sorry. Your sister is the only one who made it to London. We can't get a hold of her. We have tried our best." He said. "That's okay. Um, thank you for... For telling me. Can I get back to class?" Maddy said a tear rolling down her face and tears in her eyes. "Go ahead." Sherif Stilinski said. Maddy went back into the class room. "Dad? What happened?" Stiles asked. "Nothing son. Don't you have a class to get to?" Sherif Stilinski said. "But wait." Stiles said. His dad didn't say anything he just walked away. When Maddy got into the classroom Isaac looked at her with worry. She went to sit in her seat which was right next to Isaac because they were lab partners. "What happened?" Isaac asked. Maddy said nothing she just hugged him crying into his shoulder. Isaac wrapped his arms around her. Scott signaled to him trying to figure out what happened. Isaac shrugged. "Alright class. Sorry I'm late. Lets begin." The substitute Mrs. Royce said. Stiles peaked into the room. "Hi, I'm looking for Maddy Gaul?" He said. Maddy looked up and walked into the hall to talk to him. "What happened Mads?" He asked. "Nothing Stiles, can I get back to class?" Maddy said. "No, why does it feel like you're always mad at me?" Stiles said. "I'm not mad. There's just a lot going on. I'm sorry, I have to go." Maddy said walking back into the class. She took her seat next to Isaac again. This time just sitting not hugging him.

*Bell Rings*

"Maddy what happened?" Isaac asked as they walked out of the classroom. "Can we talk about this later?" Maddy said. "Obviously not because this is going on now." Isaac said slowly getting more agitated. "I'm sorry I just need some time. Come over tonight." Maddy said walking out the doors and getting into her car. Isaac didnt want to wait. He went to his locker and opened it to get his things for his next class. When he closed it the whole locker door fell off. We didn't bother fixing it. Instead he went to his next class. Meanwhile Maddy sat in her car crying her heart out. Aiden saw her and went to knock on the window. "Hey, what's the matter?" He asked. "Nothing Aiden" Maddy said. He walked over to the passenger door and got in. "Now tell me what's going on." He said. "Please get out of the car." Maddy said. "No" Aiden said starting the car. "Drive somewhere and talk to me." Aiden ordered. Maddy turned of the car and got out. "Maddy wait." Aiden said getting out of the car and walking over to her. He wrapped his arms around her and yanked her into a hug. "Let me go!" Maddy said. "Not until you either tell me what's going on or stop crying." He said. "We'll be here a while." Maddy said not resisting the arms around her anymore. "I've got time." Aiden said. The two walked over to Maddy's car and opened the hatch back. They sat there talking. Maddy explained how she thought her parents were in London, how they were really in prison, how they were charged for the murder of her brother, and how they escaped and died in a plane crash. Aiden never took his eyes off of her. "You're so beautiful." He said. "Thank you" Maddy said smiling. Aiden leaned in for a kiss. At first Maddy didn't lean away. "I can't do this. I'm sorry." Maddy said leaning away. "I'm so sorry. I don't know what got into me." Aiden replied. "No no, it's just as much my fault as it is yours." Maddy replied. "We should probably get back to class." Maddy said getting up. Aiden nodded and the two walked back into the school. "Sorry I'm late. I had to talk to Sherif Stilinski" Maddy said when she walked into class. "That's okay. Take a seat." Mr. Kelly said. Maddy sat next to Ethan and Danny. "Were you hanging out with Aiden?" Ethan asked. "I was talking to him. How did you know?" Maddy asked. "I felt it. The way he feels about you. The way you make him nervous. The instinct he has to protect you." Ethan said. "I'm not that special." Maddy said doubting what Ethan was saying. "You're pretty amazing in his eyes." Ethan said. Maddy just smiled. Isaac was listening to this whole conversation.

POV of Isaac

Aiden? Maddy can't be with him. She can't spend time with him. I have no chance against him. Aiden is more attractive than me and can probably keep her safer than I can. I only have one choice.

POV of Narrator

*Bell Rings*

Isaac walked out of the class room. "Aiden!" Isaac yelled. Aiden turned around. "I heard you're into my girlfriend" Isaac said when Aiden walked closer. Aiden just looked at Maddy. "Maddy didn't tell me. I heard your brother and her talking." Isaac said. Aiden looked at Ethan. "You wanna go bro!?" Isaac said threatening. "Isaac, we don't have to fight. Maddy loves you. Me? I'm just a friend to her." Aiden said. Maddy just stood their. Isaac looked back at Maddy. "She's my world. I can't take a chance that she would rather be with you ever." Isaac said. "I don't think she wants to be with me." Aiden said. Isaac out of nowhere hit Aiden. "Isaac! What the hell are you doing?" Maddy screamed. Scott grabbed Maddy's waist to make sure she didn't go over to the fight. Aiden came back and hit Isaac. It turned into a huge brawl. Both guys beating on each other. "Stop please!" Maddy screamed. Isaac took the last punch hitting Aiden with all his will. Aiden fell to the floor. Finally Scott stepped in pulling Isaac out of the fight. Maddy ran to Aiden who laid on the floor. "Somebody call an ambulance!" Maddy screamed.
