Chapter 7

POV of Narrator

When Maddy got home from school she went directly to her bed room for a nap. Isaac didnt come with her because of the "thing" that him and Derek had to do. Maddy was woken up from her nap by the sound of tapping on her window. She looked out it and saw no one. She decided to open her doors that lead to the balcony that is right off her bed room. Maddy looked left saw no one then she looked right no one. By now Maddy was thinking it was just her imagination then just as she turned around Aiden was stand right there. "Oh, god. You terrified me." Maddy said catching her breathe. "I'm sorry." He said smiling at her. "What can I do for you? How did you even get up here?" She asked. "Oh right well I climbed up her and I need to talk to you." Aiden said. With that Maddy looked over the ledge. Her balcony was 3 stories up. Maddy didn't bother asking anymore questions. "Well, come inside, but be quiet." Maddy said leading him into her bedroom. He felt kind if awkward about the whole thing because Maddy barely new Aiden and he just showed up on her 3 story high balcony. "The full moon is supposed to be really pretty tomorrow." Aiden said. "What's so special about tomorrow's full moon?" Maddy asked. "Well, it's not exactly a full moon. It's an eclipse." He responded. "Oh that's pretty cool." Maddy said. The conversation felt unnatural. "Maddy, I want you to stay here tomorrow. Don leave your room. Lock all your doors and windows. It's going to be different and I don't want you getting hurt." Aiden said in a very worried voice. "Why would I get hurt?" Maddy asked. "Just... Jut trust me." Aiden said grabbing Maddy's hand. Right before Maddy could pull her hand away her aunt Jennifer opened the door. "Oh sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt" she said. "No, that's okay. What are you doing here?!?" Maddy asked. She hadnt seen her aunt except for at school in so long. Jennifer was the English teacher that Derek is involved with. "I haven't talked to you in forever. You're always busy with school and things. I just never find the time." Jennifer said. "Oh, well I'm glad you're here!" Maddy said. "So am i, I'm going to go and let you continue your conversation." Jennifer said. "I'm sorry about that Aiden." Maddy said sitting back down on her bed. "That okay, I have to go. But seriously. Be careful tomorrow." He said. Leaving out the balcony door. Maddy went and watched him as he hopped from place to place making his way to the ground.

POV of Maddy

What is going on with these boys? They are just being so weird. I looked at the time. "12:45" I said to myself. I need to go to sleep! I have to wake up at 6:45. I couldn't sleep though. I needed to know what was going to happen tomorrow.

POV of Narrator

Maddy eventually fell asleep. When she woke up she found Isaac sitting at the foot of her bed. "Good morning beautiful. It's such a nice day." Isaac said. "Good morning. What time is it?" Maddy asked. "Only 6:30. Your aunt was up and she let me in." Isaac said kissing Maddy on the cheek. "Let's go downstairs. Breakfast is being made." He said grabbing Maddy's hand and getting her up. "Why are you here so early?" Maddy asked. I just thought I would come see you earlier so we would have more time together love" Isaac said. "Well, I'm glad you did." Maddy said. "Aiden came over last night. He told me to be really careful tonight." She said. "Oh, don't be worried. Please be careful though." He said. "What going on?" Maddy asked. "It's something I will tell you about later." He said. "Alright fine." Maddy was kind of sick of not knowing what was going on, she just wanted to be all to understand. "Thanks Jennifer for the breakfast. We're going to go to the school now." Maddy said. "It's so early though. You don't have to leave for another 15 minutes." Jennifer said. "Yeah Maddy, we can stay hun." Isaac said. "Hi Isaac, it's nice to see you again." Jennifer said. "Nice to see you too." Isaac responded. "Wait you two know each other?" Maddy asked. "Yeah, she's dating Derek." He said. "Yeah I know that but how do you know each other?" Maddy asked. "Me and Derek are good friends." Isaac said. "Okay" Maddy said still pondering reasons they would know each other. "So are you two together?" Jennifer asked? "Yeah, you have no idea how happy I am to be able to say she's my girlfriend." Isaac responded. "Awww. You two are so cute" Jennifer said. Maddy just laughed and held Isaac's hand. They just continued having boring conversation while Maddy listened. "You should get going. Don't want to be late" Jennifer said. "What about you?" Maddy asked. "Oh, I don't teach this period. Ill be there in just a bit." Jennifer said. Maddy nodded Then her and Isaac left for school.

POV of Isaac

I was nervous that Maddy was mad at me for not telling her what was going on. I don't want her to be mad at me, but I also don't want the news to just come out I want it to be gradual. Personally my plan is to after the eclipse go to Maddy's house and show her that I'm a werwolf and let her get use to it. Hopefully she won't freak out. I love Maddy and I'm not willing to lose her.

POV of Narrator

When Maddy and Isaac got to the school Maddy and Isaac went to the lunch room where Scott and Stiles were sitting. "Hey guys." Maddy said sitting next to Stiles. Isaac sat across from her. "Is it just me or is this a bit awkward?" Stiles whispered to Maddy. "It is, but don't worry about it. It will all fade away soon." Maddy whispered back. Maddy didn't know that Scott and Isaac could both hear her perfectly fine. The first bell had just rang and Maddy was at her locker. "Why aren't you talking to Isaac?" Lydia asked. "I'm about to. It's just a bit complicated right now." Maddy replied closing her locker. She walked over to Isaac's locker. "Hey, I don't want things to be awkward anymore." Maddy said. "Neither do I babe. I'm sorry." Isaac said hugging Maddy. "It's okay. You don't have to be sorry." Maddy replied hugging him back. Isaac walked Maddy to her class. The rest of the school day was not important. After the last bell Maddy followed Isaac, Derek, and Scott to Derek's loft. They had no idea she was following them. "Get ready Isaac. Just think about your Dad. You said he was your anchor. Stay calm." Derek said sitting Isaac down on the couch. He strapped his hands and feet down. Maddy had no idea what was going on. "Are you good? We don't have much time until the eclipse." Derek said. "Yeah, just make sure I don't hurt myself." Isaac said. Scott nodded and him and Derek walked to the back of the loft to watch. As the eclipse started Maddy could see that Isaac was acting weird. "Maddy? Are you here?" He asked. Maddy walked out and said "yeah, I'm here". Derek came running out and grabbed her waist and carried her away from him. "Why are you here? You. Could get seriously hurt!" Derek yelled. "Derek we have more problems than this. Isaac got out." Scott said. "Where did he go?" Derek asked still holding Maddy to make sure she didn't leave. "I have no idea." Scott said. Suddenly they heard something scratch the walls. Scott ran out only to see Isaac scratching up everything. "D-d-Derek. You might want to come out here." Scott said. "Stay here Maddy!" Derek said walking away. Maddy heard growling and things being torn apart. Suddenly she saw Derek be throws across the room. "DEREK!" she scream running out to him. Maddy looked out at Isaac. She couldn't believe what she saw. Isaac was a werwolf, so was Scott, and so was Derek. "Maddy get back in the corner. He's dangerous." Scott screamed. Maddy did not listen, instead she slowly walked over to Isaac. He looked at her and ran towards her. Isaac pushed Maddy into a wall so hard it made an indent. Maddy looked into Isaac's golden eyes. Isaac pulled his hand away will his claws out almost as if he was going to slit her throat. Before he got the chance Maddy pulled his werwolf face really close to hers and kissed him. Slowly Isaac switched back to his human state. Maddy looked into his eyes with fear after she stopped kissing him. Isaac fell to the floor coughing. Derek ran over to her and held her in his arms. "What just happened?" Maddy asked. "You're his anchor. You're what keeps him from changing." Derek said. "Is that a good thing?" Maddy asked. "Yes, it mean you're what helps him calm down." Derek responded. "That looks like it hurt. Lets get you to a doctor." Scott said. "Derek, how about you go with her. I'll explain everything to Isaac when he waked up." Scott said. Isaac had passed out on the floor after he changed back into his human form.
