“Louis, stop!” I begged, laughing uncontrollably.

We were lying on the floor in my living room, Louis straddling me, as he tickled my sides.

“Lou!” I squealed again.

“Give me a kiss, babe, and I’ll stop.” He smirked.

I didn’t want to surrender, because I couldn’t let Louis win this argument. “No,” I continued with my giggling.

“Alright then; don’t say I didn’t warn you.” He chuckled, carrying on with his tickling.

I couldn’t take it anymore. I had to give in. “Ok, Louis. I surrender.” I stated.

He stopped tickling me, and I caught my breath. “Give me a kiss, love.” He dipped his head down so that his face was only mere inches from mine.

I wrapped my arms around his neck, bringing him closer to me and closing the small gap between us. I softly pressed my lips against his.

He placed each of his arms on either side of my head, hovering over me. He swiped his tongue along my bottom lip, asking for permission to enter.

Being the tease that I am, I kept my mouth shut.

“Sam,” he whined, playfully biting my lower lip.

I gasped, and he took the chance to enter my mouth.

Our tongues wrestled for dominance, but his won in the end.

We were making out, and it got pretty heated until we heard my front door open and close. Immediately, we pulled away from each other and sat on the sofa, not wanting to be caught snogging by the interrupter.

After a few moments, my dad peeked his head in the doorway. “Hey, Sammi.” He greeted, and then caught a glance at Louis. “Louis, what are you doing here?” he asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

“I, um, I just came by to see Sammi.” Louis stuttered.

My father looked very confused. “Why?”

Louis and I looked at each other quickly. We haven’t told my dad that we’re dating, even though it’s been almost three months now, because he definitely would not approve of me dating a musician, nonetheless one of his own clients.

“We’ve become good friends since my graduation party.” I smiled at my dad.

It wasn’t a lie; it just wasn’t the whole truth.

My dad didn’t look too convinced, but he let it go. “I need to stop by at work after dinner, so I won’t be home until much later tonight.” He announced.

I nodded understandingly.

“Louis, are you staying for dinner?” My dad asked.

“I’d love to, thanks, Si.” Louis grinned.

My father gave a curt nod before leaving the room.

“We have to tell him.” Louis whisper-shouted to me, in case my dad heard.

“He won’t let me see you anymore, Lou. We can’t tell him yet.” I whispered quietly, shuttering at the thought.

Louis cupped my face in his hand when he saw my saddened expression. “Ssh, baby girl.” He comforted, stroking my cheek with his thumb. “I don’t care what anyone says. I love you, and nothing’s going to stop me from seeing you.”

I looked up into his blue orbs. “Y-you love me?” I asked.

It’s the first time he’s ever told me that, and his eyes widened in realization as he noticed what he’d just said. He gulped, but nodded. “I-I love you, Sammi.”
