Calum and Michael were sitting on the couch watching tv. They had some snacks between them and both had beers. The boys agreed on a relaxing Friday night, as it was storming outside and they didn't want to go out anywhere. They were watching 'Once Upon A Time' on Netflix, trying to catch up on it.
"Captain Hook is so hot" Calum said and took a drink from his bottle. "Agreed. But Charming could still take me anytime." He said. Calum laughed. "Hell, why not both?" Michael nodded his head. "Gotta point there" Calum hummed in agreement and focused on the tv again.

Michael found himself drifting off as Calum was snacking. Calum noticed he was trying so hard to pay attention but his body was done fighting it's exhaustion. "Mikey, we can rewatch this tomorrow. Go to bed" Calum said lightly as he paused the show. "I-I'm fine" he answered, a yawn breaking his words. "Dude. You're literally falling asleep as I'm talking to you" Michael's head snapped up from where it was falling towards his chest and his hand as support. "Maybe I should go to bed" he admitted. "Goodnight" Calum said with a smile as he turned the tv off so he could go lay down too.

Michael fell asleep almost as soon as he had crawled into bed. But about an hour later he started tossing and turning as frightening images filled his mind. He mumbled and grumbled into the silence of his room. An image of all the boys dying in different ways fled his thoughts and he sat upright, sniffling a bit.
The fluffy haired boy cautiously walked out to the kitchen for a drink to calm him down. He got a small glass of water and drank it.

Michael walked back down the hallway, peeking into Calum's room since he always kept the door cracked. He insisted it was 'in case of emergency' but Michael knew it was a comfort thing and from living in between buses, which had no light protection at all. He slowly crept in the room. "Cal" he whispered. No reaction. "Calum" he tried a bit louder, but a sniffle followed. "Calum!" He said at his normal tone which sounded loud in the silence. "M-Mikey? It's like 2am What's wrong?" He rolled over and groggily asked. "I h-had a nightmare and didn't want to go back to sleep alone." He said shyly. "Come here" he said and patted the empty spot on the bed. Michael smiled and crawled in next to him.

Calum pulled the older boy into his chest and had one hand rubbing his scalp as the other rubbed his bare back. (Michael didn't wear much to bed) "Wanna tell me about it love?" Calum asked. Michael shrugged. "You all were there" "Me, Luke and Ash?" Michael nodded. "And I was locked in a glass room" Calum made a noise for him to continue. "And then you guys were on the other side and you each-each..." he teared up a bit. "It's okay Mikey. It's over now, yeah? You're safe with me. Nothing's gonna happen babes" he said and kissed the boy's head. Michael relaxed into him with a sigh. "Better?" Michael nodded against his chest. "Sleep now ok? Sounds like you need it" Michael lets Calum's breathing settle and lull him to sleep.

Calum wakes up first, Michael still laying on his chest but in a bit different position then last night. He smiled at the now peaceful looking boy. He tried not to wake him by getting up but he knew Michael would be hungry when he woke. Calum made his way to the bathroom to wee and brush his teeth before going to cook some pancakes. He put toppings on he knew Michael loved and got the milk out.

Michael woke up to the smell of food, but had to wee first before he followed the smell. He rubbed his eyes before Calum and the food came into focus. "Morning Mikey" "Morning Cal. You made pancakes?" "Mhmmm. Figured a rough night could be fixed with a nice morning" he said and gave Michael his plate. "Thank you Cal. For last night. For breakfast." "Anytime Mikey. Anytime. Never get shy about it. Cuddles are a plus for everyone. Now turn back on Once Upon A Time so we can finish it!" Michael did exactly that and ate happily.
