"So why are we going again?" Madi asked for the third time. We were on our way to Zoey's house for a beginning of the year party thing that Chase reminded me about earlier. I was excited to get this year started right anyways.

"Because- everyone is coming to this party, and we must come. I mean it wouldn't even be a good party without us! You know that." Ava explained as if it was obvious. I rolled my eyes and laughed lightly.

"Okay, if that's what floats your boat," I replied, and shifted in my seat.

Ava sighed, and adjusted her seat belt.

"Okay, let's just be happy tonight, okay? I intend on getting very drunk." Madi said, laughing. She looked at Ava who just shrugged, "I'm probably not going to drink tonight. Madi gasped, "Why!?" Ava frowned and glanced at her in the passenger seat. "Does it matter? My parents have been pressuring me about that stuff, so I'm just taking tonight off, okay? I'm going to have an easy conscious." She adjusted the wheel again, and I smiled a soft smile. "That's cool A."

Madi just scrunched her nose, and huffed as Ava drove onward.

"Madi!" Ava squealed. She was crazy, luckily she was just that and hadn't been drinking, which was still strange to me, but really it's just one less body to haul home. "Hiiiiii Ava!" Madi said, dragging out her words. "You're so pretty?" Madi asked, but I think she meant to make a statement. Madi stumbled around the house, falling over her own feet trying to get closer to us. "Girl shut the hell up, you're hawt!" Ava replied. "Guys, I'm gonna go get a new drink, stay here." I said, and headed for the kitchen.

I saw the fridge, and tugged on the handle. Lemonade! I thought to myself, taking advantage of the opportunity and praying it wasn't spiked. Pouring myself a cup, I looked around the kitchen. My eyes focused on a couple furiously making out. I shuddered as she pulled at his hair.

"Hey." I heard from behind me. Behind me, Chase leaned on the doorframe. He rested his hands on my waist, as I took a sip from my plastic cup. "Hi." I whispered. "Why are you in here all alone?" He asked and I sighed. "I'm not alone, Ava and Madi are in the living room." I told him. "Well not for long. I saw their two very drunk, very frisky boyfriends hunting them down." Chase said, and I laughed.

"Such morons..." I sighed again. "What about you?" Chase asked me. I stared at him in confusion, and asked, "What?" He laughed, "Are you a moron?" I bit back a grin at his tipsy state. "That depends..." He brushed hair out of my eyes, and before I could say no, he began to make out with me. He tasted of alcohol, and I hated that. I have never liked beer, or anything like that, but that was mainly because I could never take it in well. I know- I know, the popular girl not being a drinker? Weird right?

Before I knew it, I'd had three shots, and my head was spinning. We were all sweating like mad, and dancing on the dance floor. Chase grabbed my hand, and began to lead me to a quiet area of the house. He fumbled with a door handle, and slurred, "Let's have some.... Fun!" I shook my head and replied, "Chase your drunk. No!" He backed away, and fell over. "Don't you love me?" He groaned and roll over onto his stomach, pretending to cry in order to make me feel bad.

"Chase stop it," I said trying to be stern, and he fake cried more, then started laughing. "Of course." I groaned. I searched my jacket pocket for my phone, and typed in Zack. "Chase is drunk!" I left a voicemail when he didn't answer, and left Chase passed out on the floor. "What an ass." I told myself, and threw his hoodie from his waist under his head.

I stumbled around, trying to find the girls. "I'm going on a walk hoommee." I said, slightly drunk when I found them. The girls nodded, while kissing their boys, and I left. I knew my car was there, but I could have Adelaide pick it up, and I was positive that Madi and Ava would be going home with Zack and Ryan.
