I stumbled into the upstairs guest bedroom, after knocking and hearing no response. I rubbed my temples, closing my eyes and sighing. Looking up, my eyebrows drew together in confusion. Silently standing there, watching as my heart was ripped from my chest, Chase, pushed an unknown bleach blonde haired girl into the wall. She smiled at him, and he fiddled with her dress straps.

He leaned in towards her, and I shouted at him. "Chase!" I yelled, and the duo whipped their heads around in shock, staring at my mortified expression. I shook my head, a tear streaming down my face. "How could you?" I screamed at him, and the girl adjusted her dress. She giggled, and scampered off behind me, in delight. "It's not what it looks like." He tried to explain.

"Save it- Chase. We're done. I'm done." My voice faltered, as I turned out of the room and ran down the stairs. Tears blurred my vision, and I ran into a large, and intimidating surface. Looking up, I saw his face, and he hugged me tight.

He questioned nothing, grabbing my hand and leading me to the car. "Take me home." I cried, and he nodded, starting the engine and speeding off into the night that had become everything it shouldn't have.

3 Months earlier:

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. BE- I clicked the OFF button on my alarm clock, and slipped off my eyemask. Smiling to myself, and sliding out of bed into slippers, it was time to start getting ready.

I looked over to the window, stepping across my fluffy white carpet. It was warm out, and the red and orange leaves told me that autumn was at its peak. "Beautiful." I whispered to myself. 'Ruff!' I looked behind me and spotted my baby, the cutest white dog you would ever see, she sat by my feet, wagging her fluffy little tail and sneezing with excitement. "Phoebe!" I bent down to pick her up and she licked my face, then proceeded to chew on my silky pink robe.

"Miss West!" My maid, Adelaide knocked on my door gently. "I'm awake Adelaide. Be down in one hour!" I told her, and she replied through the door. "Yes ma'am."

Gazing upon myself in the mirror, I wonder what I'll be wearing today. I can't just wear anything after all. My silky, blonde hair is what every girl wants. Crystal blue eyes shining like diamonds, make boys fall at my feet. I'm perfect, and no one can tell me any differently.

I decided to wear a pair of skinny jeans, cuffed at the bottom, with a long sleeve maroon shirt, and plaid scarf. Of course my outfit is adorable, when wouldn't it be? I finish getting ready, and tuck scarf under my hair before putting on my adorable leather ankle boots.

"Miss West breakfast is ready." Adelaide shouted from downstairs. I nodded to myself, spritzing some perfume on quickly before running out to our staircase. I live in a mansion, in Eagle Woods Valley, the nice neighborhood in town. So maids, Louis Vuitton purses, and consistent visits to Paris are nothing but expected of me.

"Looking rather casual today Serena." My mother spoke from her spot at the dining table. My boots clicked against the marble flooring, as I strolled towards our fully stocked kitchen. "Maybe a little." I mumbled. "Speak up." She replied, and I sighed. "Maybe a little." I said again, louder this time. "Hmm." She grunted to herself, and took a sip of her daily coffee.

"I'll be in New York all this week and next week, so be sure to behave for Adelaide." She instructed me. I rolled my eyes, and scrolled through my Instagram feed. "I always do."

Mother nodded, and finished off the food in front of her. "We're going to Courseus tonight. Business meeting with the Waters." My ears perked up at this. Adelaide brought a plate with pancakes, eggs, toast, and bacon for me to eat. I nodded to her, and she stepped away from our conversation.
