Me and king ate then took our showers. Today was a CRAZY day it was so unexpected seeing August but im happy king finally got a chance to meet him. Lawd he was so fine. Lemme go to sleep cause I kinda miss him.

"Somebody texting you" king said walking in my room with my phone in his hand. "Who is it?" I said lotioning my legs. "Ummm August, I thought that was a month.. Is that somebody name?"

"Im deaad black lives matter ,that's ya daddy name gimme my phone boy". He handed me my phone and walked out my room.
I looked at the text and it was August

August: Hey what you and my boy doing?

Me: Hey and nun finna call it a night.

August: Aw ok goodnight &Tell him I said good night.

Me: K

August: wait.. I got something to tell you

Me:What?

August: Im sorry

Me: For...

August: For not being their for king .. Its my fault he grew up all this time without a pops, If I would've been a better man to you we would've had a family. I miss you 😩💏

I didn't even know how to respond

Me: Its ok all we can do is move foward and I miss you to 💕 , but we should just focus on King right now.

August: I understand .. Do he got school tomorrow?

Me: August tomorrow is Saturday 😂😂

August: Aw yea lmao 😩😂

I made sure king  was in the bed and called August cause I wanted to hear his voice before I went to sleep.We talked for a hour and a half catching up on life and everything we missed. I ain't even gone lie it was nice talking to him.

The next morning

I woke up to my phone vibrating . I Looked and it was August

August: Good Morning 💕☀

Me:Good morning

August: Did I wake you up?

Me: Yea

August: Aw my bad

Me: its cool, its time for me to get up anyways cause I gotta hair appointment.

August: Aw ok what time can I see king, im tryna see him as much as possible before I go on tour.

Me: Umm I can drop him off omw to the shop . Send me ya address .

He sent me his address then I got up and did my daily duties . I just put on a black and white Adidas jogging suit and some white air force ones.

I walked to king room and started going through his drawers. Finally I found him something to wear . I got him some all black trues and a white and black true religion shirt with some black air force ones.

I Put him in the shower, washed him up and put his clothes on. I went downstairs, went to the kitchen and started preparing breakfast. "You want to go see ya dad today?" I said putting bacon in the skillet . "yea, where we going?" king said sitting down at the table and grabbing his Ipad.

" I don't know but im sure its gonna be fun".
"Ok as long as its fun"
"King you a trip" I said laughing . I finished making our meal and made our plates.

I poured us some orange juice , sat across from him at the table and we ate. I washed our lil dishes and walked in the living room my hair appointment is at 2 and its 1:OO . " You ready to go?" "yea" king said "Ight Holon lemme go get my phone".

I ran upstairs and texted August
Me:We on our way

August: Ight

We left the house and rode to his house . His house wasn't far, we arrived 15 minutes later. We got out the car and I rung the door bell . Almost instantly the door swung open and it was Sheila (his momma) " Heyy" She Said pulling me into a tight hug. "Hey, you look nice" I said hugging her back .

It was true she haven't aged a bit since the last day I saw her.
"Thanks you do too, come on in" she said stepping to the side. I walked in and the house was full of people , it was a few unfamiliar faces but for the most part i knew everybody.

"This ya son?" she said looking at him " yea" I said . "aw ok . Hey cutie" she said smiling "hi " king said standing very close to me .
I spoke to everybody who spoke to me and was about to leave.

"That's yo son?" Travis said ( His brother) "yea um..". "That's OUR son " August said interrupting me coming downstairs. Everybody had shocked looks on thier faces which made me feel a little unconformable.

"Why we just now finding out?" Jamal said (His other brother) . "Because right after i found out i left New Orleans" I Said "Why you leave New Orleans?" Travis said .

"That's enough . Why yall keep asking her all these questions?" Sheila said. "He is so cute " one of August cousins said . "thank you " I said smiling .

"What's his name ?.. That's the last question ma" Jamal said . "King" I said. I Looked down at my rolex and it said 1:49. I knew I was gonna miss my appointment. "Where Chacha?" I said changing the subject.

"She at work, she work at a shop now". Sheila said " Really? That's good , she always talked about working in a shop". "King!" Kay Kay said yelling from the kitchen "huh?" king said still standing behind me .

"Come play with us" Nonnie said . "okay" he said running to the kitchen . "where the shop at , im finna go see her cause I just missed my hair appointment ". "Its on 21st"(made up) she said. "August ill be back" I said looking at him .

"Ight" he said . I looked on the other side of the room and I seen one of August cousins muggin. " son im finna go ok, ill be back" I said walking in the kitchen .

" ok" he said with his eyes glued to the toys. I left out and was on my way to the shop.
