Aphrodite made her way down the corridor, her suitcase trailing behind her. Today was the last day of school, and she was damn well pleased it was over. The Gryffindor portrait, a shining knight, came into sight. The entrance known only to past and present Gryffindors.
"Password?" asked the Knight, pointing his sword at her. Ugh, so life like. He's acting as if he could actually do something with that sword, she thought irritably.
"Worm-hole" She said, rolling her eyes at the immaturity of the password. No doubt Heath's idea, she thought.
The portrait swings open, and she makes her way down the cobblestone corridor, until she can see a light of a room. The Gryffindor common room.
Aphrodite surveys the room, looking for a messy haired head, and makes her way towards him, a skip to her walk.
"Hi" Erik Coli said, giving her a quick peck when he saw her. He turned back to his friends, laughing at what one of them said.
Aphrodite rolls her eyes, but returns his greeting. "Hey."
"Hello to you," one of the hottest guys at this school, and Erik's best friend, Heath say, a smirk playing on his face. 'I wish I could wipe that smirk off', she thinks to herself. Heath is known for playing with girls' hearts (even though he's a first year), but he's a great friend when you need one. Well, that's what she's heard from her not so infamous boyfriend. Yes, the messy haired one. How messed up is that?
"Whatever, Heath. Hey Rosy, Selena! What'd you get on your examinations?" She calls over the noise of the common room. Her two best friends had finally made an appearance, taking their time packing up their wardrobe.
"All E's" They say in unison. Creepy, but that's how they are. They're sort of the monarchy at the school. "The Blonde Trio" is what they call the three of them.

"Me too" She said. She turns her face towards Erik, who has a day dreamy look on his face.
"What'd you get?" She asks him, shaking him out of his reverie.
"Huh?" replied Erik, bewilderment evident in his voice. He catches himself and gives her a sheepish grin. "Oh, I got all O's."
Erik is way too smart to be so good looking. They started dating when they were in their second month at the school. Ravenwood is located in the U.S, where New York is supposed to be in the mortal world. At the end of every year, the school floats itself somewhere in the magical world, finding a place to set it's self. The current headmaster is the only one of to know where it is. You know, secrecy and all.
"Nice," She said, returning his smile.
Her life is kind of like a fairytale. She has the hottest boyfriend, captain of the spirit squad (they open for the Quidditch game, before the players come out), filthy rich, and her parents work for the Ministry of Magic. She is also intelligent and has the respect of the students at the school. Even the third and fourth years like her.
She looks at Rosy and Selena, their texting catching her attention. In the magical world, wizards and witches don't use electricity. Everything runs by itself. It was a cool thing to study, that is, if you were into that kind of thing.
"Any new gossip?" She asks, only half caring.
"Yah! New girl in our grade next year!" Selena said.
"Grades?" She asks, interested now. No one can jeopardize her reputation, even a new girl.
"All O's," said Rose.
Aphrodite laughed. Only a nerd -save Erik- would get all O's. "Loser," she dismissed. The girls laughed. The meaner she was, the better controlled this school is under her power.
She looked towards Erik, smiling at his care free face. He caught her eyes, smiled, and leaned forward, capturing her in a sweet kiss.
No one can take her place at this school.
No one at all.

Edit [12/12/09]: I've edited this, and as you can see, there are a lot of changes. Since I've changed my writing technique, I've had to correct this. Please tell me how you like it. I hope you like the changed, seeing as how they're going to stay like this ;)
