[Chapter 6]
Some things I wanted to clear up were that their common rooms are much bigger and convenient than in the Harry Potter books and what you see in the movies. Oh yah, Aphrodite is not stupid! She's smart and people like her because she's was the best in the school until Evelyn came along. I also don't want you to think that I made Evelyn some perfect girl who knew everything. She has problems, don't worry. Think of the castles and grounds like Harry Potter. I will have pics posted as soon as possible of the castle and maybe the dorms. I think that's all. Maybe some of you are wondering why Professor Victor's last name isn't Night? Well he used his middle name, people do that right? Hope you like this.
Oh and, Erik likes his girlfriend, he isn't attracted to Evelyn in any way!

I was shocked. The mark of the Dark Family (a slithering snake that looks like its attacking) was right there ten times bigger and on the wall.
Everyone around me either had a shocked look on their face or was trying to find somewhere to hide.
The doors to the room slammed open and the headmaster, Professor Albumen, his second in command, Professor Vallombrose and the head of Gryffindor, Mrs. Rose came storming in.
"What is the meaning of this!?" Mrs. Rose asked, catching sight of the mark, she gasped.
"Everyone into the Great Hall! Head Boy, Head Girl, gather the students and inform the prefects!" The headmaster yelled.
When nobody moved he yelled, 'now!' and all the students started to move out.
Erik and Aphrodite were at the front of the line, yelling instructions at everyone to move out.
I grabbed Mackenzie's and Luna's hands and we made our way out of the room and into the crowded halls. Everyone was panicking and trying to get out of the way.

When we were all seated into the Great Hall, the Professor Albumen came through the entrance followed by Professor Vallombrose and Mrs. Rose. They made there way up to the front, taking there seats while the headmaster stood in front of his post and called for our attention.
'I would like to clear up any worries you might have. No one is dead. To be honest with you, only a member of the Dark Family could conjure up the mark. We do not why the mark is here or if it was a student. All we know is...nothing was found in the school. 'He said, pausing a moment, allowing the words to sink in.
'That is why we'll be carrying on with our studies. This news will not affect anything at all and there is no need to return home. You're probably safer at the school than out there if there really is a threat. You may return to your common rooms now.' He said.

In the morning, I walked down to the Great Hall with Luna. Mackenzie was off somewhere, kissing her all too eager boyfriend, Charles.
I was eating a piece of toast when a charcoal black owl swooped down from the windows and dropped a letter in front of me.
'Who's sending you mail' Aphrodite asked me, more like sneered. She's been having this mean attitude towards me while I've been trying to ignore it.
'I don't know. Why don't we ask it?' I asked, sarcasm leaking in my voice.
I opened the letter and immediately recognized my mother's handwriting.
Honey,
Why haven't you written? Your father and I have been so anxious as to hear what's been going on. What house are you in? Your father and I were in Gryffindor, years ago. I can still remember all the good times that place has held. Anyways, good news, we bought a house right on the coast. Your father just put up a Quidditch pitch in the backyard for your use (and his). We were just putting up the protective charms to hide the house. I cant wait for you to visit us. I hope you met your uncle Victor. He informed me about your reaction to the information he gave you. I'm sorry honey, we couldn't tell you anything about your future and destiny. I hope to see you when you come and visit.
