When classes were over for the day, they made their way over to the common room.
Evelyn sighed, flopping down onto the couch with Mackenzie. As soon as she was seated, she jolted right up again.
"SHIT!" she yelled, receiving stares from the people around her, "I'm late!"
"What for?" asked Mackenzie.
"Quidditch" she said, making her way over to the door.
"We'll come with you!" Luna yelled over the noise of the room.
"OK" she said, opening the portrait hole and making her way over to the Quidditch pitch.

She walked towards the Quidditch pitch where there were students sitting in the stands, including Luna and Mackenzie.
She had her broom over her shoulder and still had the clothes she wore to class on. When she got close to the boys, she waved at Erik, Charles and Heath. They looked at her shocked. Was her presence shocking or the fact she had showed up?
Erik set them all up on two even teams. She wasn't on the team with Charles and Heath so she didn't have anyone to talk to.
"Alright, everyone mount your brooms"
Evelyn got on her broom and flew over to her position. When she was in the air, it was effortless. You feel like all your troubles are left behind when you kick off from the ground.
Erik took position in the center and threw the Quaffle up. Half-a-dozen people went to get it but collided with each other. Amateurs.
She seized the Quaffle and flew towards the goal post of the opposing team.
The boy that was masculine had a smirk on his face when he took in her gender and appearance. "I'll show you tiny," she thought to herself.
She made a move as if I was going to throw through the closest hoop to her right, momentarily confusing him, but instead threw it through the center hoop before he could even calculate the move.
She heard cheers from the stands and could even make out Mackenzie's voice yelling, "KICK THEIR ASSES EVELYN!"
The Quaffle was thrown again and this time she was beat to it by Charles, who was grinning, and scored the goal.
After a couple of times of 'Catch and Miss', she had scored the most, shocking most of the boys trying out.
The Keeper of the opposing team didn't look so smug anymore.
"Alright everyone. Our Keeper will be...Kenneth"
Kenneth, the masculine one, beamed and stood behind Erik, a smug look on his face.
"Our Beaters will be, again, Heath and Adrien"
Heath and Adrien loudly high-fived each other and stood behind Erik.
"Our center Chaser will be...Evelyn" he said, a hint of admiration in his voice.
Evelyn smiled, made a move to stand behind him, but was instead pulled into Erik's arms. He whispered in her ear, loud enough for her, but only her, to hear, "You were amazing."
"Thanks" she whispered back, standing behind him so he could continue calling out names.
"Awesome flying Evelyn" Charles said hugging me a little bit too long for comfort
"Thanks" she said, stepping out of his arms, but got pulled into Heath's.

After try outs, she walked towards the crowd after promising the boys she'd see them in the Great Hall for dinner. She felt gross and sticky and needed a shower.
"CONGRATULATIONS" Mackenzie yelled, hugging her tightly.
Luna hugged her as well and walked towards their dorms.
"Sorry, Kenzie. I beat your boyfriend for the position of Center Chaser" she said.
Mackenzie blushed furiously but waved her hand nonchalantly, "He'll get over it."
"Oh, so you admit it!" said Evelyn,
"Yah whatever" she said, plugging her iPod earphones into her ears and turning up the volume. She was still blushing.
I could hear some of the lyrics coming out of the iPod and couldn't recognize the singer.
Mackenzie began to sing, "Drop, Drop that magic cherry bomb!"
I couldn't help but laugh at the ridiculous lyrics. Of course it was an artist I didn't recognize. Who uses words like "magic" and "cherry bomb" in their music?
Oh right, a wizard.

When we were safely in our dorm, I took out some casual clothes and took a short shower involving the usage of orange scented body lotion and silky shampoo. Mackenzie had already left for dinner to meet up with Charles, leaving Evelyn and Luna in the dorm. What good friends she had...
When she walked out of her shower, already dressed, she saw Luna sitting on her bed, reading a Twilight book.
Evelyn walked towards her and flopped down beside her.
'Why are people obsessed with that book?' she asked her, confused as to why people felt the need to read it a bunch of times. [A/N: Sorry for the twilight reference, I read the whole series eight times.]
"Well because it's a really romantic book" she said, closing it and leading them out the door and towards the Great Hall.
"How?" asked Evelyn. She read the books and watched the movie. Bella was what all boys thought girls were...weak. Books, movies, shows and any form of media was the reason why boys thought girls were, or should be, damsel in distresses.
"It's cute how Edward loves Bella and he's so worked up about the littlest things that happen to her" she said, opening the doors to the Great Hall.
"Yes but wouldn't people..." Evelyn trailed off at the look that was on Luna's face. She looked towards the direction Luna was staring at and gasped.
Right there, where everyone could see it, something she feared for ever since the day she found out about her parents...
The Dark Mark.

I have edited this. I mean, it was a horrible chapter. It seems like I had made a mistake and accidently moved part of a paragraph into another. I fixed it all, don't worry. Tell me if you find anything wrong and I'll fix it and thank you greatly.
