Chapter Six

(FlUfFy WaRnInG!)

Dan was still asleep. I couldn't help but watch him as he slept. He was so cute and peaceful with his hobbit hair. I stared at him for another ten minutes, taking in his features. Until he started to wake up and I quickly closed my eyes so he didn't see me.

"I saw you!" He said in groggy voice and chuckled. I blushed and looked at him

"Aw man, I was hoping you wouldn't." I replied smiling sheepishly. He laughed again.

"You dork." He chuckled as he stretched.

I gasped playfully and hit him gently, "You're the dork!" Dan smiled at before he lunged his arms out at my sides. Time slowed down and I knew that it was too late. My cuts were still recent enough to hurt to the touch. There was no going back and he'd find out.

As his hands made contact and his fingers danced on my sides, I curled up and hissed in pain. Dan pulled away immediately and looked at me shocked. His eyes trailed to my sides and I saw his eyes fill with hurt. I turned my head as he lifted my sweatshirt and tank top to reveal the slits all up my sides and my stomach. Then I felt him lower my shirt again.

He turned my face toward him and my heart shattered when I saw the tears in his eyes. I felt them begin to form in mine as well. He didn't say anything but he pulled me in to the tightest hug he could. I sobbed into his chest and I could feel as a few of his tear drop onto my neck.

Soon he pulled away and looked me in the eyes, "I will always, always be here for you, please, promise me you won't do it again?" I hesitated but as I saw the pain in his eyes I nodded and muttered a 'I promise'. He pulled me back into his body.

I decided I wanted to take a shower. Dan helped me get a towel and a clothe for my shower. He left the bathroom. I proceeded to take my shower. Once I got out I realized I forgot my clothes. I blushed and bit my lip.

I poked my head out into the hallway. Neither of the boys were there so I rushed to Dan's room. I shut the door hard before turning around and seeing Dan. Both our faces turned red.

"I-I forgot my clothes." I stuttered. I walked over to Dan's wardrobe is where my clothes were and picked them out.

Dan said "I-I can leave if you want me to." I said no. I would just go to the bathroom again. Then I realized. I would have to go into the hallway in my towel again. I bit my lip and stood there thinking. "You can get dressed here (y/n), I won't look." He said as he turned his back. I nodded and let my towel drop to the floor.

I started to put on my underwear when I noticed Dan's head was slightly turned. I blushed, "D-Dan?" He whipped his head back and mustering up my courage I walked over in front of him.
