I sat in my seat in English and took out a pencil, because we were having a test on Hamlet. I noticed that Marcel was a bit late for class, which surprised me. Why is Marcel late? I thought he took school seriously. But, I saw someone come through the door, but it wasn't the same old Marcel that I met 3 days ago. He had no glasses on, wore an opened plaid button down with a black t-shirt underneath, and jeans with Nikes.

The whole class seemed to gasp when they saw Marcel. I heard some people say "Is that Marcel?" and even "Marcel looks so hot". I had to admit, Marcel looks like a Calvin Klein model. I can just imagine him posing for tuxedos and underwear. He sat down behind me. I turned around and said "Looking good". He chuckled and replied "You are a miracle worker, girls that didn't know I exist are now talking to me". I laughed, but deep down I felt a bit jealous at the thought of girls flirting with Marcel. Why am I jealous? I don't have a crush on Marcel, he can talk with other girls.

Then, Mackenzie, the most popular girl in school walked up to Marcel's desk. "Hey cutie" she said, twirling a piece of her hair and chewing gum at the same time. "Um..hi" Marcel responded. I hated everything about Mackenzie, her hair was fake, her boobs were fake, even her personality was fake. "So do you want to sit with the popular's at lunch?" she asked. I closed my eyes and waited for Marcel to say yes. Who would decline one of the popular people? "Sorry, but I'm sitting with Katrina" he replied, flashing me a smile. Mackenzie gave me a dirty look and said "Whatever" and sashayed away.

I grinned at Marcel. "Why did you decline the most popular girl in school?" I asked, confused. "You were the one who was nice to me since day one, Mackenzie just wants me for my looks" he responded. Right after he said that, I felt my heart flutter a little. That moment I realized I had a problem: I liked Marcel.
