chapter 29-Return

(3rd p.o.v)

Ryuu stepped into the village and all eyes turned to him. He had had the sense to deactivate his Sharingan but despite that, not a single person around was doing anything except staring at him.

"Um, hello," Ryuu said raising a hand.

"Who are you?" someone asked.

"Um, that's a bit of a long story," Ryuu stated.

"I think he's an Akatsuki spy," someone else spoke up.

"Go about your business," a voice behind Ryuu ordered and he grinned widely turning around to see Yugao standing there. "He's an informant of the Hokage."

People stared at him for another minute before turning and continuing on their way.

Yugao motioned for Ryuu to follow her and left the village and he followed, meeting her in their old training field.

The moment she turned around, she threw her arms around him, mask falling away as she did. He hugged her back as she shook slightly.

"I was so scared," Yugao sobbed into his shoulder as he had grown as tall as him without realizing it. "I thought you were never coming back."

"Sorry about that," Ryuu smiled sympathetically. "I would have been back sooner but there was a bit of a...complication."

"What kind of complication?" Yugao asked.

Ryuu pulled his shirt off since it had long sleeves and a glove, hiding his arm from view.

Yugao covered her mouth, eyes wide as she stared at the scare and then the arm.

After a moment, Ryuu pulled his shirt back on and the glove out, holding his hand out, knowing what she would want.

She reached out, tentatively, taking his hand and stared at it in amazement.

It didn't feel like a normal hand, he knew that much. It was harder and smoother.

It was hard to describe. After a moment she let go and he pulled his glove back on then turned around as Neji and Tenten stepped into the clearing.

"You're back," Tenten blinked then smiled. "Finally."

"Neji, Tenten," Ryuu smiled. "It's good to see you two. So, how much did I miss?"

"What do you know?" Yugao asked, the mood suddenly much more serious than Ryuu expected.

"I know that Gaara, the Hidden Sand, and the Hidden Sound all attacked at once while I fought my opponent," Ryuu stated. "Then, I killed him and Fu knocked me out."

"Well, we won that battle," Yugao stated. "Obviously. Fu beat me in a fight, though, not by much. Naruto defeated Gaara, who, it turns out, was the One-tail's Jinchuriki.

He escaped with Temari and Kankuro, his siblings, and the remaining Sound and Sand ninja fled, along with Orochimaru, leader of the Hidden Sound Village.

While here, he had been here, he fought the Third Hokage. The Third Hokage eventually sacrificed himself to seal the part of Orochimaru's Soul that allowed him to use his arms, causing Orochimaru to flee.

After that, Naruto, Hinata, Kiba, Akamaru, and Shino left to find a beetle that would allow them to track you by smell but in the end failed. While they were gone, Sasuke left to train with Orochimaru.

Neji, Tenten, Ino, Shikamaru, Choji, and Might Guy left to try to bring him back and had to separate to fight five Hidden Sound ninja that were escorting him, more or less. Lee later arrived after the new Hokage cleared him to-"
