chapter 26-Broken Promises part 2

He sprinted through the ranks of the shinobi, deflecting and redirecting their attacks with the kunai, spinning and slashing his way through, using one kunai to cut the armor free then the other to kill the ninja. 

Had they not had the armor, he would have simply blasted them all with a strong jutsu and been done with it. After nearly ten minutes, he stopped when the ground shook violently, several shinobi falling down. 

The mountains between him and Fu had exploded, nearly destroying them completely. Ryuu resumed his assault on the shinobi as they charged at him again. He blocked on sword, redirecting it into another shinobi's chest then jumped and kicked two in the throat. 

Finally, he reached the mountains and sprinted up the first one, killing any shinobi that got close enough. As he crested the mountain, he got high enough to see what Fu was fighting. 

It was a massive clay dragon that was barely a fifth the size of the Seven-Tails but that was doing a lot of damage, if the damaged wing, missing tentacle, and burns all over the Seven-tails' body were any judge.

Below Ryuu was the crater Fu's attack had left. It looked more like the top of a dormant volcano than it did a fresh explosion crater. 

Ryuu was about to slid into it just as the Seven-tails fired a massive black sphere past Ryuu, blasting a good portion of the shinobi into paste and killing most of the others a moment later as the explosion spread. Ryuu felt the concussion hit him, hurling him through the air. 

When he landed, he felt his left arm and several ribs break. He healed them, pushing himself up to realize the concussion had thrown him over the next peak and he was now standing on the mountain directly in front of the Seven-tails with the clay dragon circling around its head and Deidara and Sasori both on the ground between Fu and Ryuu.

Ryuu stood, sprinting down toward the two Akatsuki members, both of whom turned toward him just as the Dragon exploded against the Seven-tails' head. 

It turned into a silhouette of boiling red chakra before all shooting down to Fu, who was lying unconscious on the ground below, and soaked into her body.

"Ah, the Uchiha," Sasori greeted nodding. "I'll take care of this Deidara."

"No way," Deidara grinned. "You know how I am with Uchiha. He's mine."

"He'll kill you," Sasori warned.

"No way," Deidara snorted.

"What do you want with Fu?" Ryuu demanded, sliding to a stop in front of the two.

"Nothing," Deidara snorted. "It's the Seven-tails we want. Her death is just an unfortunate side effect of us taking it from her."

"You're going to kill her!?" Ryuu seethed, forming a Flame Sword on each hand. "Over my dead body!"

"Really?" Sasori asked flipping his tail around and driving it down through Fu's abdomen. "I wasn't aware you had to be dead first. Don't worry, the wound isn't fatal, despite the size. But the poison is."

Ryuu stared at Fu and the tail sticking out of her abdomen. His eyes itched, as they had the day he had awakened his Sharingan, and his vision focused even more. Then, his eyes burned as his anger erupted within him.

"YOU MOTHER FUCKER! ! !" Ryuu roared charging at Sasori. "I'M GOING TO TEAR YOU INTO SHREDS! ! !"

Deidara stepped between the two of them but before he could do anything, Ryuu snapped his head around, looking Deidara in the eye, placing him in a genjutsu leaving him immobile. Ryuu sped past Deidara, beginning to spin and slash at Sasori rapidly.
