Chapter 10

Two weeks passed and it was my Birthday on Friday and my party on Sunday, I had been really busy with finding a job and interviews since I graduated from Uni last week. I hadn't seen Rishi since the day Jassi was here because he was busy with his dad and taking over the law firm.

I went to bed excited to see Rishi tomorrow he was picking me up for dinner at his house his mom wanted me to come down. I was spending the day with my family then the evening with his.

I woke up the next day to my mom, dad and brother singing Happy Birthday; my sister went out yesterday and was stopping at Raj's house.

Mom put a box on the bed and I opened it, I squealed "They're amazing thank so much" I hugged mom and dad. It was the jewellery set that matched my outfit for Sunday completely.

Kesh handed me a little box and it was a bracelet that said best sister "Awe thanks" I hugged my little brother and was glad I had him. They left my room and I spent the day answering texts and calls from loads of my family and friends. Rishi hadn't texted me and I was a tad disappointed, I carried on the day with my parents and some of my family. It was about 6 o'clock and I needed to get ready. I wore a simple out fit for dinner which consisted of a black and white floral print dress and heels. I left the house as soon as I saw his car pull up. I was disappointed when I saw it wasn't him.

"Sorry he wanted to surprise you" it was Jay, he wished me a happy birthday and he drove to Rishi's parent's house. Jay parked the car and we got out he opened the door and it was dark someone flicked the lights on and a few of his family were standing there with a cake and balloons and gifts. I looked around for Rishi but couldn't see him.

I put a smile on my face and said hello to everyone, "He's in his room goo I will get the cake ready to cut" I thanked his mom and ran upstairs. I ran into his room and it was dark, I put the light on and he was sat on the bed with a huge teddy and poster.

The poster said will you be my girlfriend and I was about to cry, awe he was so sweet. "Will you be my girlfriend" he asked when he came towards me,

"Hell yes" I pressed my lips to his and kissed him hungrily, "I missed you" I said panting

"I know so did I" I kissed him again and looked at him, he had stubble

"You look sexy with stubble" I mumbled, he pressed his lips to mine again and he lifted me up I wrapped my legs around his waist and kissed him passionately. He deepened the kiss and I moaned as his lips left mine and attached to my neck.

"I love you" he kissed my neck and my eye's widened, he pulled back and I looked at him.

"I love you too" I rested my head on his shoulder and Rishi's mom called us down. I sorted out my hair and redid my lipstick.

"Hold on one more thing" he pulled a box out of his Draw and gave it to me. I opened it and it was adorable, it was a heart shaped necklace.

"Thank you it's beautiful" he took my hand and we went downstairs. "Question can I take that teddy home" he laughed and nodded "Yes" I always wanted a giant teddy. We went downstairs and I sat down and Rishi's mom put the cake in front of me, I blew the candles out and cut it. I fed his parents and him and we had dinner together.

We went back to his apartment and I collapsed on his bed, he laughed at me and crawled on top of me. "Did I tell you, that you look amazing today" he kissed my neck and I giggled.

"That's because you haven't seen me in over a week" he continued kissing my neck and I felt my body heat up, "I love you Rishi" he brushed my hair back and kissed my head.

"I have one last surprise for you" he opened up his draw and it was filled with condoms, he shut the draw and turned to look at me I was holding in a laugh and I bit my lip. "Um that wasn't there um excuse me"

He walked out his room and a few minutes later I heard Jay groan, "The fuck dude that hurt" I heard him shout and Jay come back in. He handed me an envelope and I was shocked.

"Paris are you serious and Disneyland" he nodded and scratched his head. "I'm sorry about that Jay thought it was funny" I put my arms around his neck and pressed my lips to his.

"Maybe we can put them to use" I whispered, he looked at me and he went red.

"Maybe we shouldn't" he removed my arms from him and I felt a bit rejected "Um let's go to sleep" he changed his clothes and I felt my stomach churn. He practically rejected me, I changed into some PJ's and slipped into bed next to him, he kissed my head and moved away.

I felt cold and alone normally I practically sleep on top of him. It's been a week and I don't know why I said that maybe if I didn't he would have been ok. I tossed and turned all night and I got up early. I wrote a note and walked home, I lay down on my bed and just thought things over.

Maybe he's having second thoughts about us, I mean he asked me to be his girlfriend maybe its too early. Maybe it's not the right time? Maybe he doesn't like me anymore?
