Chapter 3

I woke up the next morning and checked my phone I had a text from my sister,

Get a taxi meet me at the park by home at 9 and we will go home together

I checked the time and it was almost half eight. I shook Simi and showed her the text. I knocked on Rishi's door and he didn't answer. I went in and he was still asleep, I carefully shook him and he woke up.

"Morning" I whispered, he groaned and mumbled morning back.

"When are you guy's going"

"We need to be at the park near my house at 9"

"Great you have time for breakfast then" he got up and gave me two spare toothbrushes. I thanked him and changed back into my dress.

I made a quick breakfast of pancakes and we all had food, "Bye" he kissed my cheek and blushed. I tiptoed and kissed his cheek.

"Thanks for letting us stay here, Bye" we waved and got into our taxi. We got to the park and I saw, my sister. We walked back to our house and Simi was staying at ours for the weekend. Rishi gave me his number before I left and I gave him mine. My phone buzzed and I looked at the text.

Rishi – Hey did you get home ok

Me – Ye thanks again

Rishi – its ok I had fun I hope you did

Me – ye I did

Rishi – we should go out again soon

Me – ye soon

Rishi – I have to go to work I will talk to you later Bye x

Me – bye x

I smiled at my phone and Simi looked at me.

"You like him" she sang, we were sitting in my room and were doing some work.

"Yes I do actually" I blushed thinking of last night, he was so nice and sweet.

I told mom everything and she was happy for me "I thought you were going to die alone" she teased me.

"Thanks mom"

"I'm only kidding honey but do me one favour and don't make me lie to your father like your sister does" I nodded and thanked her.

My sister has had a few boys in her life, each time she meets them she goes out and she tells my mom who she is really going out with but then she lies to our dad and said she's going out with a friend but she is actually going out with a boy. I hated that she lied to our dad but I swore that I would never do that.

Two months passed and I had texted Rishi pretty much every day, well he always texted me first. It was Friday night and I was going out to get some KFC for dinner, I parked in the car park and went inside. My mom was with me and I looked a mess, I was in yoga pants and a hoodie. We went inside and our turn came, a guy came to the front and I couldn't see his face because his cap was low. He looked up and I smiled.

"Hey" Rishi smiled at me

"Hey" I smiled back "I didn't know you worked here" I asked.

"Ye it's a new job I only work Friday and Saturday sometimes" I nodded and the manager told him to stop chatting. I giggled and he took our order. I introduced him to my mom and she looked at him whilst he got our food.

"I approve" she nodded and I giggled.

"Mom, we aren't even together" she scoffed and Rishi came back with our food.

"Call me tonight" I nodded and he handed me our food. I waved bye and we left. We got back in the car and put the food in the back seat.

I saw a figure, coming towards my car and it was Rishi. He tapped on my window and handed me a Malteaser Krushem. "You said you never had one so here" he handed me the Krushem and a Napkin he said bye and ran back inside.

"Awe you two are adorable" mom was talking the whole ride back about how cute we would look together and I smiled thinking about it. Mom got out of the car and I put the napkin in my pocket so my mom wouldn't see. I put the food on the table, ran upstair and read it.

Your bum look's good in yoga pants, you should wear them more often ;)

I laughed and put it in my draw, I quickly texted him.

Me – thanks for the note

Rishi – it was true ;)

Me – I will call you after I have had my food

Rishi – ok I finish shift at 9 so call me then

Me – ok bye x

I put my phone in my pocket and went to eat, I finished and went to my room. it was almost 9 I rang anyway and he picked up.

"Hey babe"

"Hey Rishi"

"So I'm working an all day shift at Sainsbury's tomorrow so I won't be able to talk tomorrow" I made a mental note to go food shopping tomorrow.

"Ok" we carried on talking and my dad came in my room.

"Hey daddy" he sat on my bed and looked tired.

"Who are you talking to"

"It's my friend" nice gong Riya

"A boy" I nodded and he nodded. "Thank you for telling me the truth" he kissed my head and left. I took a deep breath and Rishi spoke.

"You ok"

"Ye I'm fine, dad was just her. I told him I was talking to a boy"

"Is he ok with you talking to boys"

"He doesn't say much I think he just wants us to be careful"

"That's good, listen I need to go my mom's calling me on the apartment phone. I will talk to you when I can"

"Ok bye"

"Bye" he disconnected the phone and I went to sleep with a smile on my face.
