Chapter 14

The sound of a kettle boiling wakes me up. I sit up slowly, realizing I'm still in the kitchen. My back and neck aches from leaning uncomfortably on the island while I was sleeping. I groan and rub at my eyes.
"You must have been pretty tired to fall asleep on the counter like that." JJ states, looking at me from across the kitchen. He pours the boiling water into two mugs. He picks one up, walks over and places it in front of me before going back to the opposite side of the kitchen.
"Thanks," I say, curling my hands around the cup for warmth, "What time is it?"
"Almost 10." He responds.
"Shit." I reply, realizing I'm late for school.
"I can drive you to school later if you want, it's kind of my fault you're asleep, I came down an hour ago but I decided to let you sleep." He explained.
"Okay, I'll go in a little bit." I decide. I grab my cup and my phone and shuffle out of the the room sluggishly. Once I get up the first set of stairs I see Vik. He was just wearing a towel around his waist so I know he just showered.
"Uh, hi Olivia." He says awkwardly, I see him start to blush.
"Hi Vik." I respond casually before I started walking again. I hear him hurry into his bedroom behind me.
When I get to my room I make my bed and plug in my phone. After that I  shower. After I'm done that I do my makeup and hair. I wrap my bathrobe around myself before I walk out into the hallway.
"Good morning Liv." Simon smiles, leaning against the wall in the hallway, looking adorable (as per usual).
"Hey Si." I respond.
"JJ told me about finding you in the kitchen," Simon laughed, "I don't know how comfortable that would be but suit yourself."
"It wasn't intentional. I went down for some tea and then fell asleep." I explain.
"Tea? In the middle of the night?" He questions, raising an eyebrow.
"It's soothing." I reply with a grin.
"Whatever you say," Simon says and chuckles, "Now get ready for the day. We're going out for brunch and then I'll drive you to school if you still want to go."
"Okay, I'll be out in 5 minutes." I tell him before walking into my room. I quickly change into a burgundy SDMN sweatshirt and my new black jeans from American Apparel. I grab my backpack and hurry downstairs. I walk into the kitchen and see Simon recording Vik and JJ being idiots.
"Hi Liv." He says, turning the camera to me.
"Hey Simon." I respond before putting my backpack down on the counter and digging through it, looking for a li balm.
Simon turns the camera onto himself and starts talking to it, "So basically I'll be doing a day in the life sort of thing. You guys requested more vlogs so I decided, why not!" He says. I walk over and wrap my arms around him and lean my head against his collarbone, "And today we're, um, hi there."
"Hi." I say and nuzzle into his chest.
"Um, okay guys I'm going to go and I'll see you in a second." He says to the camera and turns it off. He looks down at me and cocks an eyebrow. I do it back but he just laughs and hugs me back.

We go to a cute coffee shop for lunch (it was supposed to be lunch but we got distracted watching JJ try to teach Vik how fifa worked). I get a caesar salad and Simon gets a hamburger. Simon records me smiling with my salad, he continued me by saying that he'll edit it and make it look artsy.
After lunch he drives me to school.
"I need to come in with you and sign you in." He tells me when he gets out of the car behind me.
"Right. Okay well its lunch break here so try not to get mobbed." I warn him. He chuckles a little but I'm being serious. Some of the girls and boys at this school are pretty crazy for Simon and the Sidemen. He grabs my hand out of nowhere, its like an electric shock flows through me. I gently squeeze his hand back as we walk into the school.
By the time we get to the office, Simon had gotten recognized at least 15 times. He waved to them, took some pictures and said hello but insisted we had to keep walking. He signed me into school and took the office door out, leaving me to walk to class through the crowd alone. Once I get to class I go on Twitter and see someone tweeted a picture of me and Simon walking in, holding hands, and a picture of him whispering something to me and me laughing. I retweet it and then put my phone away when the teacher walks in.

When I'm at my locker at the end of the day Jonathan comes up to me with a smug grin on his face.
"Can I help you?" I ask, looking at him bitterly.
"Hey, come on. The other day, I was being stupid, don't hold a grudge." He says in a sweet voice.
"Sure whatever you say," I say back, sweetly, "now what do you want?"
"I want to hang out." He tells me, adding a smile at the end, "We can go to that coffee shop and you can copy my notes since you missed your first three classes today."
"Fine, lets go." I say and close my locker.
