Chapter 24 [Final Chapter]

Frank's POV

I roll over on my bed, a smile stretched on my face and my phone pressed up to my cheek, waiting for the other end of the line to pick up.

I had just woken up like five minutes ago, to basically a trillion texts from Lennon, some saying 'good morning' and the rest were just lyrics to the song Backseat Serenade by All Time Low, as well as audios of him singing –more like screeching- love songs. After I had read through all of them, I had hit the Call button so I could talk to him, and also insult him for spamming me.

As I reach to adjust my dick through my boxers, he picks up.

"Hiya, Frankie!" He says cheerily into the phone, trying to sound innocent. I roll my eyes.

"Don't 'hiya, Frankie' me, fucker. What do I owe the pleasure of having two billion texts from my lovely boyfriend in my phone to?"

He sighs softly, and I can almost picture him pouting. "I'm nervous, I've never met anyone's parents before, and you're my first boyfriend and you know how clumsy I am. What if I like spill salsa on your Mom! That's not a nice first impression, now is it? And how come I gotta meet your Mom before you meet my parents and sister, huh? Not fair, you're an awful boyfriend,"

I chuckle. "Yes, the worst boyfriend, you know it. First of all, my mom's gonna adore you just as much as I adore you; besides, there isn't gonna be salsa anywhere, so you can chill about spilling food on my mom, you honestly need to calm down, babe. Alright?"

There's a pause.

"Yeah, you're right. Okay, I'll be there for lunch,"

A few hours later, I was dressed and ready for lunch with my boyfriend and mom, the first time they would be meeting.

Lennon ended up bringing a bouquet of flowers, and as I opened the door I couldn't help but laugh as his ears tinted pink. I cooed at him and let him in, admiring the way his jeans and white dress shirt hugged his body tightly. I greeted him with a peck on the lips and we went to the kitchen, where my mom was finished cooking and I had set the table.

"Hi, Mrs Iero," Lennon says shyly, extending the flowers towards her and giving her a small smile. "These are for you,"

My mom smiles back and takes the roses, admiring them and placing them in a vase as she speaks. "Oh, honey, you didn't have to! These are lovely. Thank you for coming, Lennon,"

"No, please, thank you for inviting me,"

And that's when I start swaying over how cute my boyfriend was acting in front of my mom. Lennon was always cute and kind and adorable with me, but he wasn't even swearing in front of my mom, and made sure to compliment the house and her cooking, acting so polite and generous.

As we ate, mom began asking Lennon questions, and he answered them politely, calling my mom 'Mrs Iero' the whole time and being careful not to put his elbows on the table. I was seconds away from melting into a puddle.

"So, Lennon, what do you want to study?"

"Well, I got one more year of school after summer, but I'm planning on studying Psychology in the state, and I was able to get a summer job at a mental hospital, so I can start training,"

After the whole questionnaire, and when we had cleared the table, mom told us to go to the living as she cleaned the plates, so she could give Lennon a break before she continued firing questions at Lennon, most likely.

As we sat down, I grab Lennon's hand and place it on my lap, stroking his knuckles with my thumb and smiling at him.

"You're literally the Mother-whisperer, babe, I swear. You had her wrapped around your finger! Aww my boyfriend is so polite," I coo, placing a wet kiss on his cheek. "God, how did I end up so lucky,"
