By the time I got back to my house it was around midnight. I was walking up to my apartment door when I got a text.

Bri: Make it home safely?

I quickly replied with a yes then headed inside my apartment. Not bothering to cut on any of my house lights, I walked straight to my bedroom. I didn't even expect to be home this late. In fact, I wasn't even planning on absolutely destroying my ex's brothers house.

The entire night had flew by. I swear it felt like seconds ago I was running for my life across Zac's yard. The entire "plan" had put some real thrill in me though. I didn't know how to describe it. I felt as if I was free. It was weird. But I kind of liked it.

Once I was in my room, I tossed my keys onto my side table and took my work hat off. Letting out a large breath, I fell back onto my bed and pulled my phone out.

Bri: call me?

Hitting the call button, I waited for Brittany to pick up.

"I've got it." Brittany said, enthusiastically.

I laughed and furrowed my eyebrows. "What exactly have you got?"

She muttered 'oh gosh' before speaking loudly. "A party! Some girl named Hollie is throwing a party at her house tomorrow night."

A party on a Saturday night.

"Hollie?"

"Yeah, apparently Patch knows her. He told me about it. Him and Taylor are going." She said.

Taylor would be there. I immediately got excited. Taylor York was gonna be at this party. Closing my eyes, I smiled, remembering his words.

"Relax, sweetheart."

Shivers erupted down my spine.

"Hayles? Yes or no? I know you don-"

I cut her off. "Yes. Heck yes."

I heard her laugh. "Okay so. I'll pick you up at 11. Sound good?"

"Sounds great. I'll be ready."

"Good. Night, Hayles!"

"Goodnight, Bri." I ended the phone call and put my phone on my side table. I was smiling. I really wanted tomorrow night to get here; and quickly.

After thinking of how tomorrow night could go, I positioned myself comfortably and closed my eyes.

The entire next day seemed to fly by like the snap of a finger. By the time 10 o' clock rolled around, I was still in bed roaming the internet. I was in the middle of reading one of my friends stories when I got a message from Patch on my phone.

Shithead: Hey, you coming to the party?

Nope.

Shithead: for real?

I'm coming, haha. Bri's picking me up.

Shithead: ahhh, she forgot to mention "we're" picking you up. ;)

I let out a little laugh then quickly texted back. Yes, I was that person. I was a quick texter.

We're?

Shithead: mmhmm, I'm driving. I've gotta pick up a few other friends.

Alright. Thanks for letting me know. You're still coming to get me at 11 right?
