Regina
"Are you alright my love?" Robin asked fluffing up my pillow before kissing me awake. "I'm fine, why do you ask?" I said slowly rolling into him, he gave me a worried smile and kissed me again.
"Thank you for my second chance." He said quietly, running his fingers through my hair, I just grinned and nuzzled my face into his neck.
"Of course my love." I said back, rubbing his face with my thumb.
I slowly got up and got dressed, my body still sore from the endeavors of the past few days.
"Oh my why didn't you tell me that you needed help?!" Robin exclaimed gently sitting me on the ottoman, I tilted my head and slipped my sweater on with ease, giving him a funny look.
"Robin. Out with it, what is going on? I am okay, I can dress myself." I said raising my eyebrow, he looked down and I saw a tear drop on his gentle hands.
"It was my fault that you got hurt, if I had just left you alone you wouldn't have needed them to cut you open and you wouldn't have hemorrhaged! I should've-!" I cut him off and cupped his chin, giving him a warm smile.
"Hey, it's okay, that wasn't you, that was the darkness in you, and honey I'm okay, the cut they gave me was small, they just needed room for her to come through." I explained, wiping the tears from his eyes, he sniffled and looked up at me with guilty eyes.
"Don't blame yourself, it wasn't your fault." I said warmly, he nodded and hugged me close, his nose burrowing into my hair.
"I love you Regina, so much." He said still holding onto me, I hugged him back and then pulled away.
"I love you Robin." I said smiling before I got up and slowly started walking to the nursery where Lucia was sleeping.
"Good morning my little love bug, mommy is so excited that you are here." I cooed scooping her into my arms where she made her sweet little noises before snuggling into me.
"I can't believe this is our first Christmas Eve with everyone." Robin said walking into the room, I smiled and walked her over to the changing table and peeled off her soiled diaper, replacing it with a fresh one. Her little red dress matched Ava's, I bought them while I was insanely pregnant and my hormones and credit card was out of my control.
"Mommy!" I turned around and saw Ava toddling in with her chubby hand in Henry's. "Ah mi hermosa! Come here!" I exclaimed, lifting Lucia into my arms while Ava wobbled over to me.
She grabbed my calf and giggled, holding her arms out to me, Robin let go of her and took Lucia into his arms, kissing her face gently. I saw his eyes grow when I bent down and picked up Ava.
"Be careful my love!" He exclaimed, placing a hand on my back, I smiled and cuddled my daughter against my chest, walking out of the room to greet the guests who would be arriving within the hour.
"Merry Christmas!" Snow exclaimed, hoisting Neal onto her hip, her gifts piling in her hands. I balanced Ava in one arm and took some of the packages, setting them under the tree.
"Aunt Gigi!" Neal cried, reaching out for me, I smiled and kissed his cheek, leaving a lipstick mark on it. "Hello my love." Snow said kissing Ava who giggled at the touch, she hugged Robin and I and held Neal's hands back when Robin showed him Lucia.
The doorbell went again and I opened it, the cold air making Ava squeal and curl into me more. "Merry Christmas!" "Ho ho ho!" Emma and Killian exclaimed, the pirate sporting a Santa hat while Emma had a large grin on her face. We hugged and she scooped Ava up and into her arms, peppering her with kisses, hugging Henry tightly.
