Super Urgent Author's Note: Hello my magical lovelies! I have both good news and bad news, so please READ THIS NOTE.
Good news! I leave for college tomorrow! :)
Bad news: Obviously, college is a seriously focused and busy time. Thankfully, this book is finished but still, the rest is unedited/un-rewritten. This means that when I do have free time (the few measly hours I allow myself time to write), I shall be rewriting and editing furiously. Updates will be even slower. I do ask that you guys be patient and kind while waiting for the new chapters.
THIS STORY IS BY NO MEANS ABANDONED OR UNFINISHED. I am merely a new college student on the brink of existential crisis. (yay...)
Enjoy the chapter lovelies!

Chapter Twenty-Seven
“Friends are the support bras of life.” – Lisa Kleypas
Jacky’s P.o.V.
I bounce in place on the couch, watching Mrs. Weasley as she traces her wand across the back of my shoulders, checking my breathing. The last thing on my checklist of complete health.
“You’re finally better.” She seems almost disappointed at losing a person to fawn over 24/7.
“Thanks to your good care the last few days Mrs. Weasley. Right in time for Christmas Eve too!” I tell her. She smiles and pats my cheek. Christmas is tomorrow and Ginny has been trying to distract Mrs. Weasley all day for some reason without success.
“Mum, I need help finding my jumper, can you help?” Ginny asks hopefully as she ambles into the room. Mrs. Weasley tuts and follows her upstairs. As soon as her door is heard being closed, two redheads pop their heads out of the kitchen.
“She gone?” George asks. I sit up on the couch, a place I was quite sick of after all this time, and nod.
“Sneaking out, eh?” I ask amusedly. Fred shushes me.
“She has ears like a hawk! Be quiet.” He whisper-yells. I chuckle and mime zipping my lips. They grin and wink before rushing out of the door and into the yard. Seconds after, the sound of apparation is heard and I know they’ve gone.
“Honestly, Ginny. You must need glasses or something. It was right there on your bed.” Mrs. Weasley grumbles as she heads to the kitchen. Ginny looks at me and I give her the thumbs up. She relaxes her shoulders and grins smugly.
“Sorry Mum, I must be stressed. How are you feeling?” She asks as she comes and sits by me. I grin, bouncing in my seat again.
“Healthy! No fever, no aches, no nausea, nothing! I’m healthy, baby!” I cry. She laughs and fist bumps me.
“Great. Want to play Quidditch?” I grimace slightly; she was a fierce player.
“Do you have an extra broom?” She nods and I hide another grimace.
“Fine, you’re on Weasley.” She scowls before hopping up and running to get the brooms.
“Mrs. Weasley, do you know where all my things are?” I ask her. She points towards the general area of Ginny’s room.
“Thank you!” I walk up there, quickly realizing my normal stamina was long gone. I was puffing when I reached her door. Mrs. Weasley had warned me to take it slow; I could easily catch the cold again. My trunk was sitting at the foot of a second bed and I smile happily. I grab my wand and quickly shower before fixing my hair and changing into my green Quidditch robes I had gotten two birthdays ago. I go back down to the excited Quidditch player outside. She’s holding her broom and Ron’s. I go to take hers; sure that he would rather her ride it than me. However, she clutches it.
