and second of all, pretty please read the authors note at the end. thank u!

"Cameo!" I yelled threw out the house. Soon enough, I heard large heavy feet thudding against the floorboards. The large animal came bounding over to me, almost knocking me down. I clipped his leash too his collar and my coat heading outdoors.

It was warm for Virginia in March. Sure it's snowing in other places right now, but not here. It's quite was warm, around seventy degrees. I enjoyed the weather, being able to walk around without snow being on the ground. I'd seen snow before and hated it so, I didn't mind.

The air was more moist, it sticking to my skin. I threw my coat on the hood of the car planning to pick it up on the way in. Cameo pulled on the leash wanting to go.

I started walking down the sidewalk humming some tunes to myself. A little down the neighbor hood I saw a familiar face down the sidewalk, and stopped.

It was Matthew.

I debated whether to contains down the sidewalk or turn around. I looked a little closer and saw that Matt was with another girl, and a dog. Cameo pulled more on the leash causing me to drop the leash.

Cameo ran down the sidewalk, the leash flying behind him. I cringed seeing the group watch the huge animal bound towards them. I yelled Cameo's name loudly causing Cameo, Matt, and the girl with him to look at me.

In all my glory I jogged down the road, tying to catch my dog. As soon as I got up to the group, I grabbed my dogs leash. "Hey, Evangeline!" Matt said hugging me in a surprisingly tight hug.

"Hey, Matt. . ." I looked at the girls scowling face, "Bobby," she muttered . Oh I know who you are.

"Evangeline. I am so sorry about Cameo. He just saw you're dog and-" Matt stopped me, "It's alright. I was just stopping by to say hi to Bobby and then go home."

I nodded, "Cool," I said lamely

"I will talk to you later, Bobby." Matt said, shortly after. He gave Bobby a quick hug and walked with me. I decided to head home since Matt was headed in that direction.

"How have you been?" Matt started. Our dogs decided to walk closer together, bringing Matt and I's body's closer. Our arms brushed as we walked.

"Um, I've been okay. Things are a little hectic, but good. How about you?"

He shrugged stepping of the sidewalk onto the side of the street. "Busy, like you. Football and lacrosse are a lot of work but, I'm fine." He scratched the back of his head awkwardly.

I nodded once again, not knowing what to do. "Oh. Maybe you need a breather, or a relax day."

He chuckled, showing his beautiful smile, "Sounds like it, huh?" I stepped around Cameo as he sniffed the ground. I tugged on his leash and he walked faster to catch up to Matts dog. "I guess."

"What's your dogs name by the way?"

He scuffed a rock on the road and came back next to me on the sidewalk. "Burnie." Cameo stopped again to pee on a post. "Yours?"

"Cameo," (a/n pronounced CAM-O! i didn't know how to spell it lol.)

"Oh, I like that name." Matt wrapped his arm around his dogs' leash. "I like your dogs name too."

And from them we walked in silence until we got to my house. "So. . . I was wondering something." Matt asked

"Okay?"

"Do you want to. . . Like go out sometime?" I went silent. My mouth opened and closed. What do I say? "L-like a date?" His eyes went wide and he began to become frantic, "I mean, No. I mean if you want it to be a date it can be. Er- sure."

I smiled in amusement, "I would love too." He nodded, and pulled out his phone. "Can I have your number?" I took his phone adding my number into his phone and handed it back to him.

"I'll see you later?" I asked, already knowing the answer.

"Yeah, yeah, sure." I smiled and headed up my own driveway watching from the corner of my eye, Matt do a little dance.

The day was becoming dark and I said a little prayer to keep Matthew safe on his way home.

I ran up too my moms art room to tell her the exciting news of me getting asked out.

okay so i have to clear something up & leak one teeny tiny thing. bobby buchard is matts long time ex-bestfriend & there was this whole thing about her. just go on google and look up "bobby buchard & matthew espinosa" and all of the stuff will come up.

i personally don't have a problem with her. i don't find her debate worthy to be honest. i don't think she's harmful to matt. im not going to hate on her for being matts best friend.

for this particular story she's going to be pretty rude but im not implying that this is how i picture/think of her. i just needed someone who was matts friend and their relationship went down hill and this is it.

i also wanted to let you know that this book is coming to an end shortly. i know we are like in the beginning/middle of this book but i am one to surprise so hopefully some ideas will help me on this one.

i have like parts of the finishing ending but i don't know how to string them all together and make it actually fit. i might take a few days to think it threw and make it perfectly wonderful for you guys.

i really hope you guys like this book because for a long time i wanted to make a book that nobody else made (someone probably already did it) and i thought for a while, and finally this pulled threw.
lol

i hope you guys understand this issue. thanks for reading! update will be up soon!
