"He's here!" My mom screeched. I pulled her away from the window she was watching threw the curtains before hand. "Mom! He can't see you!" We both stumbled backwards, as Cameo started barking.

My heart started beating as my mom panicked, "I'm so excited you guys would look so cute together! This is your first boyfriend!" My eyes widened as she said the word boyfriend.

"He's not my boyfriend, mother!" She rolled her eyes and we both went silent as the door was knocked upon.

"Oh my god," I breathed out as my mom screeched. She ran to the door and started opening it before I ran into her causing us to both fall down. The door fully opened and Matt saw us both laying there. I stood up quickly smoothing out my black, slightly short dress.

"Hey, Matthew. . ." He nervous laughed helping my mom and I up.

"Hi Matthew, I'm Linda." She pulled him into a tight hug. He towered over my mom and I with his lanky body.

"Nice too meet you." He looked at me, "You read to go?" I nodded, and hugged my mom. "See you later." She replied and pushed us out of the house.

Matt and I talked on the drive to what I assumed the restaurant and when we finally got there he was a gentleman.

"So. . . How's football and Lacrosse going?" I asked, as we waited for our food to arrive.

"Good actually. We are headed to Nationals  and we are pretty excited about that." I smiled, "That's great! I'll have to watch you sometime." He smiled and sipped his water. "Yeah that would be awesome! You should come to the Nationals game."

"Sounds great! When is it?"

He brushed his hand threw his hair, "May 28th. You could be my goodluck charm." I blushed and covered my eyes, "That's so sweet. I'll be there."

"Awesome. How's the art going-" he got interrupted by his phone ringing, "I thought I turned this off." His face dropped when he saw the name on the phone.
