Emma's POV
Today was the pep rally. I was kinda excited about it, kinda not. But I did like the shorter classes.

Ringggg. That's the bell for the pep rally. My classes went by pretty quick. All of the students went to their lockers, put their books in, then filed into the gymnasium, and took a seat with their classes. Freshman in the back right, sophomores in the back left, juniors in the front right, and seniors in the front left. The band played along the back wall. I sat down in the back of the bleachers, in the senior section.

There were 2 cheerleaders from each class, except the senior class, there was only 1 senior cheerleader. In all of the sections, the football players always sit at the bottom, on the last row of seating before the floor.

Because Killian was captain of the varsity football team, he always helped our 1 cheerleader. He wouldn't cheer, but he would stand on the floor, and attempt to get everyone psyched. He ran back and forth, hooting and hollering, joined by the football team, and almost the whole senior class. All except people like me.

I always kept my head down during pep rallies. I would clap when I was told, or stomp my feet, but I didn't shout out anything when it was just me shouting. I blended into the crowd.

The cheerleaders' coach, Zelena, came into the gym with a mic. She introduced all of the athletic teams, said how great they were doing, then said that we were going to have a "Clash of the Classes". Which is just a competition between Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors.

For the first game, charades, every class needed 1 person from the crowd, and 2 cheerleaders. Or in our case a cheerleader and Killian.

The freshman cheerleaders picked one of the football players, the juniors did the same. The sophomores picked a basketball player. It came to the seniors, and Killian was at the bottom tapping his chin, looking throughout the whole crowd. The cheerleader looked through the jock portion of the crowd, and occasionally leaned over and whispered in Killian's ear, probably recommending people.

After Zelena came over and rushed Killian he pointed out his finger in my direction. A girl in front of me looked excited, and stood up, starting to walk through the crowd, and down the steps, when Killian stopped her. "No, her. Emma Swan. Come on down." He smirked.

I looked like a deer in the headlights, when Zelena snapped at me, and told me to get down there. I stood up, and pushed through everyone's knees, and shuffled down the steps as quick as possible.

Each class was given the same set of cards, and I am not that coordinated of a person, so some were not so easy. Despite that, Killian and the cheerleader, Jordan, I think her name is, picked up the slack, and the seniors won charades.

Jordan kept giving me death glares, probably because I kept messing up. The next game was who could get a beach ball up to the top of the bleachers, and all the way back down to the bottom first, without dropping it. Again the seniors won.

We played a few more games, each time the seniors won. The game was probably rigged, or maybe it was just because we had played the same games at every pep rally for 4 years, and the seniors were actually smart. Nah, that's not possible, it was rigged.

After the last game, Zelena made a few announcements about upcoming games and other things like that, then dismissed everyone. It was like a herd of startled buffalo coming down from the bleachers, if someone fell they would probably be seriously injured.
