Emma's POV
It was probably around noon when we got back to my house because we took our time, walking and laughing, recovering from the crashing wave of emotions we just shared and endured with each other.

I stopped at the door, held both his hands and looked into his eyes,"Please don't look at me any differently now that you know I'm broken." I gave a pained smile as I thought about him leaving.

"I won't as long as you know that I'm broken too, but you also don't look at me different."

I smiled and wrapped my arms tightly around his neck, nuzzling my face in his shoulder. He reciprocated, wrapping his arms around my waist and putting his face in my shoulder.

Shortly after, we went inside and up to my room and started watching Netflix together. My dad was at the station filling out paperwork and keeping an eye on the current inmate that he just recently caught, so we were fine getting up there, except for the awkward conversation with my mom while she was heading out to go shopping, let's just say it was a lot of winking and grinning.

Killian and I started watching Stranger Things together as "our show". I laid on Killian's chest and he would wrap his arms around me and hold me, occasionally kissing my head. My laptop sitting on our laps.

I fell asleep in his arms, at the end of the episode, and I heard him shut the laptop, and felt him hold me tighter.

I woke back up at 5pm as my dad came home realizing we slept for almost 3 hours. I heard my dad yell he was home and I panicked as I saw Killian was still groggy next to me. I quickly shook him awake and started shoving him out the window.

"Wha-what's going on? What are you doing?" He asked still half asleep and shuffling his feet.

"My dad is home and if he sees you in my room alone with me, or in my room at all he might actually kill you." I rushed with a panic-stricken face.

I saw his eyes shoot open and he rushed to the window, throwing it open, and shimmying down the drain pipe on the side.

I quickly waved 'bye' and shut the window. I sat in bed just as my dad knocked on and opened the door to my room.

"Hey what was all that noise?"

"I was just getting a drink of water from my cup on the dresser." I said thinking quick on my feet.

"Oh, alright. Well I'll be in my room if you need me and I'm going to start making dinner as soon as your mom gets back." He smiled a small smile at me, then left.

I pulled out my phone and texted Killian.

Me: You're in the clear.

Killian: Good I thought I might've had to have left the country.

Me: Nope you're still stuck with me.

Killian: Good.

I turned off my phone and laid down, a smile on my face. I stayed in that position until I started to drift off to sleep, blissful thoughts of Killian still on my mind. I only woke up later, very briefly, to eat dinner.

I woke up, my alarm blaring in my ear, and I slammed my fist down on top of the snooze button. I sat up, rubbing my face, psyching myself up for the day.

I got dressed and ready for school, then grabbed my phone and texted Killian to see if he needed a ride. Sure enough he did.

I grabbed my keys and went to my car, and I drove to Killian's house. When I got there I pulled up in front of the house and honked the horn. Killian came jogging out, his book bag thrown over one shoulder. He opened the passenger side and flew in. He gave me a peck on the lips, before straightening himself out and shutting the door. I blushed slightly, and we headed in the direction of the school, most of the ride being a comfortable silence.

For the few minutes we were early to school, we got breakfast and ate together. Killian ended up going to the bathroom after drinking a cup of coffee.

After he left I noticed this pale, nerdy looking kid with circular-framed glasses, almost resembling a mix of Harry Potter and the sparkly vampire from Twilight, getting pushed around by Will and Walsh. I stood up and marched over to them, fists clenched at my sides. I walked up to Walsh and grabbed the collar of his shirt in my fist.

"Can't you be a decent human being for at least one day?" I asked him rhetorically and angrily.

All of a sudden I felt a hand grasp my shoulder, I turned around with a snarl on my face, only to see Killian with a sympathetic look. He calmed me down, just by looking at me, he must be magical.

Before we left I grabbed the nerdy kids forearm and dragged him to our table. He grasped his books tightly as he held his head down, following me closely.

"Are you new or something? I don't recognize you."

"My name's Edward Hyde, but everyone just calls me Hyde." He smiled painfully, pushing his glasses up with the hand holding the books, and sticking his other hand out to me, which I gladly took.

I saw Killian out of the corner of my eye trying to hide his growing jealousy with a smile, which actually made me chuckle a bit.
