Emma's POV
Killian picked me up after each class, which was cute, but I could tell it was going to get old, fast. We walked hand in hand to lunch, grabbed our lunches, and sat down at my usual table."I'm sorry, but you sat with a few jerks." I said, swinging his hand in mine under the table.
"I realize that now. I hope I never said anything too jerk-ish." He half grinned.
"I'm sure you didn't, though even Ruby and I can be mean at times."
"You really think we're mean?" Ruby asked, sitting next to me.
"Sometimes we can be."
"I think we're the nicest people ever." Ruby said, a hint of sarcasm in her voice.
I rolled my eyes and smiled.
"Hey Emma, you wanna help me with prom? I don't know what to do for the theme." Ruby asked me.
"I don't know either, you know me. I'm like the least creative person ever."
"That can't be true." Killian said, pulling me a bit closer to him.
"Ah, but it is." I smirked.
"Ruby, what about a fairytale theme?"Killian asked, looking at Ruby.
"That's actually a good idea." Ruby took a big bite of her lunch."Thanks, but I have to go." She got up, threw the rest of her lunch away, then jogged out of the lunch room.
Killian turned back to me, turning his body completely, draping a leg off of each side of the seat. "You know, I think we need a real date. We have to get to know each other."
"Are you asking me on a date?"
"Depends are you saying yes?"
"If you ask."
"Emma Swan, will you go a date with me?" He smirked.
"Of course." I smiled.
"It's settled then. I'll plan a date, then tell you tomorrow."
The bell signaling that lunch was over rang. Killian and I got up and got our stuff from our lockers, he walked me to our next class. English. Our only class together.
"This is going to get old." I giggled in his ear.
"You don't want me to walk you to your class?" He swung our clasped hands.
"You don't need to walk me to every class. Just the ones that start or end nearby."
"What's your definition of 'nearby', because I could make that the entire floor and it wouldn't change anything?" He chuckled.
"If you have to run to get to and from our classes then you don't need to pick me up."
I pulled his hand into the classroom, and to our desks. The bell rung and everyone shuffled to their seats as Ms.French came in.
English went by really quickly, Killian and I didn't get much time to talk. Ms.French lectured most of the class.
After class, we split and he went to math and I went to forensics. The bell rang, signaling the end of school, and Killian was waiting for me by my locker.
He had his bag on his shoulder, leaning against my locker. I ushered him off my locker as I put in my combination. I opened my locker, threw in all of my books, and pulled out my bag.
"No homework?"Killian asked noticing I didn't bring any books.
"Yep. You?"
"Math." He grabbed my keys from my hand, and ran ahead.
I smiled and shook my head as he smirked at me, running backwards. He stumbled as he reached the steps, but caught himself. I couldn't help but chuckle.
I got to my bug and slid into the driver's seat. It was warm, so I turned down the heat a bit. I put it in reverse, pulled out of my space, then headed for Killian's house.
"Hey can I come over?" Killian asked next to me.
"Tonight? Sure." I said, changing direction to my house.
"My parents don't know we're dating, and I want to keep it like that a bit longer. My mom would be weird about it and my dad would get really scary." I said, realizing I probably shouldn't have mentioned my dad because he scared Killian enough already.
We pulled up to my house and I led Killian in. I recommended we stay on the couch so my parents didn't freak. He agreed.
"How'd you come up with that prom idea?" I asked, kicking off my shoes and sitting cross legged, facing him.
"I don't know. Maybe I'm a secret genius." He smirked.
Killian kicked off his shoes and mirrored my sitting position, holding both of my hands."So Swan, that date you agreed to, I have an idea. I was thinking we go to Storybrooke Rotisserie and Grill then head to Any Given Sundae for dessert, before I take you somewhere else for a surprise."
"Sounds fun! What time?" I had a big smile on my face thinking of going on a date with Killian.
"7 tomorrow, and I'll have you back at 11 at the latest." He smiled for confirmation.
"Okay, what do I need to wear for the surprise at the end?" I was running through all of the possible surprised he could have.
"Anything, but not heels."
"You have to go, before my dad gets home. Oh my god, I have to figure out what I'm going to wear. You really have to go." I said getting up, having him put his shoes back on.
He laughed,"Of course love."
He got on his shoes and we walked to the door. I started to open it, when Killian shut it. He pulled me into him and kissed me on the lips. I melted in his arms, it was so different from all of my previous boyfriends, he was different, a good different.
I grabbed the back of his head and pulled him as close as I could. He pulled away.
"I better go."He said, out of breath.
"Yeah." I said, just opening my eyes.
He opened the door, and started walking home. I shut the door, slid down it, and put my fingers to my lips. Wow.
