Get down yelled Chris Argent as the dread doctors were heading towards the pack. Scott and Malia jumped out of his way as bullets after bullets were being shot. It had slowed them down some but they kept getting closer and closer to them. Stiles held Lydia in his arms as they ran through tunnels after tunnels. There job was to find a way out but Lydia had gotten hurt during the fight. Once they found their way out Stiles placed her gently into his baby blue jeep. He saw how hurt she was and told her she needed to hold on for him and that everything would be okay. Kissing her forehand he ran back towards the front side of the car and speed it towards the tunnels opening. Seeing that the car wouldn't fit all the way inside he got in as far as he could. Jumping out he ran towards the opening and yelled RUN at the pack that was heading towards him. Once Malia, Scott, and Chris were safely into the car Stiles speed off. Chris kept shooting from the back to continue slowing the dread doctors down as well as keeping them from using the electro currents they used to interfere with the car.

When they were safe enough from the danger Scott looked towards Lydia who laid in the passenger side bleeding. Malia glanced towards what Scott was looking at and noticed Lydia's wound. Looking towards Stiles Malia just asked, "Is she going to be okay?" Stiles ignored Malia as all that passed through his mind was the look of pain Lydia held. So looking in his review mirror he yelled desperately at Scott to help take the pain away. Scott glanced at the worried and pained look that Stiles's held as he continued to look towards the back. After Stiles's loud plea Scott grabbed Lydia's arm and began to take some of her pain as he continued to talk on his phone explaining their situation to his mother. Malia could tell the boys were worried but she felt utterly lost. She wanted to freak out but she couldn't because this was Lydia the girl who was smart and could probably could get through any situation. However, after taking time to reflect over that day she and Stiles got into an argument over the banshee as well as Kira's talk she could see that yes Lydia always did try to help and she could also understand the importance of any member of the pack. That was why she moved over Chris to help Scott control the bleeding the best she could from the other side.

Stiles for his part felt his heart pounding in his chest. The way she had looked thrown on the dirty cement floor near some leaky pipes just made him think about all those unknown victims that have a horrible death and get no justice for the most part. But this was Lydia His Lydia and no matter what supernatural encounter they faced she would not end up with a tragic ending. That was why he raced to Beacon Hills Hospital like a mad man to save her. He ignored the fact that Chris was telling him to slow down a bit before he ended up putting both himself and him in there too. As they arrived Chris and Malia ran to see if Melissa was around with everything needed as Stiles ran to open the door for Scott. The passanger door swung open with so much force that it groaned in protest but for once Stiles could careless. Scott began to position Lydia in a way that he could slide out with her but Stiles had this dangerous possessive look that made him think back to the nogitsune days. He just wasn't someone to argue with. Stiles didn't know what came over him but as he saw Scott grabbing Lydia he got very possessive and with the need for him to be the one to take her in. She needed him and he wouldn't let her down. After all he already did once by letting her get hurt. As he went to grab her body he thought Scott would protest and it seemed like he would have but with a look he immediately let him grab her without a single word. He ended up holding her as if she was his life line which overall she was and ran towards Melissa and followed her with the rest of the nurses until he could go no further.

Chris and Malia had taken a seat to wait and find out what would happen. Scott on the other hand went to comfort Stiles who kept walking up and down the hallway. Scott stopped Stiles as they reached the end of the hall and gripped him hard on the shoulder. Feeling the pressure Stiles looked up to see the concern look on Scotts face. He could tell Scott just knew but what he knew was probably the very surface of what truly was the truth. "Stiles, she's going to be fine. She's strong and stubborn. You of all people should know this. She's going to make it." Scott said in a soothing tone and Stiles knew this but he couldn't help but feel worried. "I know Scott but I can't help worry. I just can't loose her. I've already lost one important woman in my life. I can't loose another." Stiles said in a very small voice. Stiles had already gotten through this so many times. The first with his mother then Lydia in a few occasions and recently with his father. He realized he was alone when they asked about another Kin when his father was emitted and there was no one else to inform. For him loosing Her would be devastated as if he would have lost his dad or like when he had lost his mother. Lydia was everything to him.

Scott heard Stiles's small voice and did what any family would have done. He hugged him. "I can't promise to turn her since we know she wouldn't be able to but I CAN promise you will figure something out. We always do." As their embrace began to break Stiles wiped the loose tears that had fallen and said, "Thanks Scott." Now that they were at arms length Scott just smiled supportively at him but he could see Stiles was looking beyond him. When Scott turned to see what he was looking at he saw his mom walking out of the elevator. Stiles hurried over to Melissa and before he could get a word out she spoke, "She going to be fine Stiles. Any deeper and it could have been worse but it wasn't deep enough to be life threatening. After the surgery and the blood transfusion the doctors said she should be fine. She's sleeping right now so you and everyone else can't see her." She finished saying the last two sentences in front of the pack letting everyone hear. Everyone in the room let their held breaths escape. Lydia was going to be okay and to all of them that was just what they really needed to hear.
