(Tian POV)

After I wash the suds out of my hair, I turn the handle and shut off the water. I step out of the shower carefully, so I don't slip and fall, then grab a towel and wrap it around my body. I tuck the towel in so it won't fall down, then grab another towel and wring the water out my hair with it. I manually dry my hair as much as I can, then grab my blow dryer and turn it on. As I blow dry my hair, I can't help but hear Ben talking on the phone to someone.

"Yes, yes this should help her shift. After tonight, she would be able to really call herself a real werewolf... Yes, goodbye. Love you too." My heart sunk. What does he mean,'She will really be able to call herself a werewolf.'? I am a werewolf, but I didn't shift. Not yet at least..

It then dawned on me about what he meant. He was trying to make me upset, so my wolf would have to shift. He was talking to... His mate.

At that thought, I felt a tear fall from my eyes and I turn off the blow dryer, tie my hair up, then quickly put on the clothes I was going to wear later. I run to me and Ben's room and grab my backpack and put everything inside, clothes, make-up, blow dryer, flat iron, etc... I ignored all of Ben's calling out to me as I had packed my bag. He was wondering and asking me why I was packing my clothes, and I ignored him. He doesn't deserve my attention any longer.

After I packed everything, I grabbed my wallet, phone, and Violin case then put my shoes on and left the apartment. Ben called and screamed at me, expecting me to turn around, and I just kept on walking. I guess I should start walking down to Marie's house? I just feel... so stupid. I knew he was a werewolf like me, and he hadn't found his mate. How could I be so stupid, I guess I’m just a charity case to some people, maybe most?

As I started to approach Marie's house, I took a deep breath. How am I suppose to explain all of this? Come on, Tian. You are seventeen years old now, you can explain yourself to your best friend. Right?

I walked up the little road and put my hand up to knock on her door. I held back, hesitating, then knocked lightly. After a few minutes, the door burst open and there was my best friend, holding sheet music and a pencil with an apple in her teeth.

“Hemmph! Imm ammodt...”Marie realized I was laughing at her, and she took the apple out of her mouth and spoke. I stopped laughing, but couldn't stop smiling.

“Okay, Sorry! Yeoboseyo! I am almost done with our song, come in!” Marie said opening the door for me, then taking a bite of her apple. I ogled at how clean her house was, her house was huge! She lived alone, no pets, no man in her life.I think she liked living alone..

“Alright, why do you smell of sadness and have a backpack with you?” Marie asks, leading me to her music room which held every string instrument and a piano. Whenever we went into her music room, I always stared at her achievements and how beautifully her instruments shone in the sunlight, her music room had an amazing view of a lake. So calming and pretty, don't do you think?

“Ben found his mate.” I mumbled under my breath. Marie shook her head and moved her hand as if to say,'Louder'.

“Ben found his damn mate! Okay? There, you were right..” I said, sniffling. I felt a tear fall, and I wiped it away immediately as it came. Marie forced a smile, and opened her arms. I ran to her, and accepted her hug. We fell to our knees and I cried into her shoulder, whimpering about my lost love.

“Girl, it'll all be okay. I promise you, now. I have something to tell you, as well. But, you must stop crying for me. Try?” She asks, holding my shoulders up to her so I have to look at her. I just nodded and wiped my tears away. Ben shouldn't deserve my tears.

“Are you done crying?” Marie asks, pursing her lips together. I nod and sit up straighter, looking into my friend's deep blue eyes.

“Alright, I found your parents.” I brightened up immediately from my rather dreary mood.

“What, you did?! Who are they? Where are they now?” I piled the questions over my friend's shoulders as soon as the thought clicked in my mind.

“Their names are Suzy and Lee Dong Hae, also known as Donghae from Super Junior.” And with that, I fainted. My father is Donghae from SuJu!

“Tian! Yah, get up girl. We got to go pick up those tickets..” Marie says, shaking me awake. I shook the sleep out of me and I stood up.

“How long was I out for?” I ask.

“Eh, maybe five, ten minutes?” Marie replies. I shrugged and nodded, getting up from the floor. I looked over at my backpack which was laying next to the door of the music room.

“Can I stay here? Just for a few days, I won't be a problem..” I started, Marie cut me off and shook her head.

“Tian, you are my one and only best friend. You can stay here whenever, and however long you'd like. Here, I'll show you to one of the guest bedrooms before we leave.” Marie says, opening the music room door, and stepping out.

“Thank you so much, You have no idea how much this means to me..” I say, following her and picking my back pack up and off the ground.

“And you are welcome.” Marie says showing me my room.

It was simple, quaint. It was a master bedroom like hers, but maybe smaller. It had the sweet smell of chocolate and strawberries. The room itself had a desk with a computer station, sadly, I didn't own a computer. There was a bookshelf with almanacs, thesauruses, and dictionaries while the others were clean. I guess we will have to change that, won't we?

There are two dressers, one with a shelf which would hold stuff like trophies or valuables, the other one had a mirror with a make-up station. There is a walk-in closet with many clothes racks and hangers, but I know why. Marie is a dancer, and maybe she needs extra room for the dresses? I chuckled to myself picturing Marie in a dance dress that you see the little girls on Dance Moms wear.

Haha~

I set my backpack down on my bed and started ruffling through it, pulling my clothes out and putting them away into the dressers. I pulled out my make-up bag and started to put the make-up away into the right sockets, the blush with the blush brushes, the eyeliner in the eyeliner cup.

After putting everything in its respective places, I go downstairs to meet Marie in the kitchen. Making food, of course.

“Hey Marie, let's go ge-” Then I felt the floor shake. Not like an earthquake, but like vibrations. I went outside and kneeled down onto the ground, putting my hand onto the soft moving earth.

I felt them again, but they were stronger, louder. Soon after, Marie came outside and felt for the movement with me. But, we both looked up and looked at each other, as soft roars of monsters were heard. Only for a few seconds though, before completely stopping.

“What was that?” I ask my friend, who was now sitting down on the now still dirt. She shrugs.

“I have no idea, but whatever it was. It sounded like it was pissed and getting louder, and louder, until just stopping. Like it just, went to sleep.” Marie explains. I noticed that as well.

What's happening?
