In Love With... Parsen Crater

Chapter 5

Audrey and Parsen have been making out for the last fifteen minutes in Parsen's hospital bed. I didn't know whether I should leave or not. I felt very uncomfortable and confused but I didn't know if they were planning on stopping and attending to Parsen's health needs.

Finally I decided to leave the room just like Yoshua did when this whole mess started. I went out into the hallway to find Yoshua talking to a doctor. "Hey Yoshua." I said sighing at the end to show my frustration with Audrey. "Hey Gracie darlin'. This is Doctor George." "Nice to meet you" I said shaking the doctor's hand.

"Doctor, I don't mean to be a bother but one of your nurses has been making out with a patient we brought in for the last 15 minutes." I said hoping he'd stop it. "That doesn't sound right.." He started. "I know, totally unprofessional. Plus she was wearing a really short and low cut dress that I'm pretty sure is a Halloween costume." I said agreeing with him.

"I'm sorry, what? Please show me to the patients room." Said Doctor George. "Of course it's right there." I said pointing to the room on the corner. Yoshua and I followed as Doctor George walked into Parsen's room.

"Audrey?" Asked Doctor George. Audrey froze. She got up from Parsen's bed and shifted her dress around. "Yes Doctor George?" Audrey said smiling. "Audrey I need you to get back to your room immediately. And change out of the ridiculous costume! Put your hospital gown back on the second you get back to your room." Audrey frowned and walked out of the room.

Yoshua and I stared at each other trying to figure out what just happened. Parsen however just sat on the bed acting like nothing happened. He found a tv remote and started flipping through the channels.

"Doctor George? What just dun happened?" Asked Yoshua. The Doctor looked at the floor sighing in disappointment. "That was Audrey. She is currently staying at this hospital as a patient in our psych ward." "Wait so some mentally unstable girl put on a costume, pretended to be a nurse, made out with a patient, and even got a fake name tag made?" I asked in shock.

"Precisely." Responded Doctor George. "Now if you'll excuse me I better run some of Parsen's labs so you three can get out of here." Said Doctor George. "Wait Doctor George." I said as he was about to leave the room. "I thought we needed to have Parsen's family come before we leave?"

Doctor George stepped back into the room. "No. Parsen just needs to sign some papers then you can go on your way." "But Audrey-" he interrupted me. "Gracie, Audrey was not a real nurse. She was probably just trying to make up ways to have Parsen stay here longer." I felt stupid for believing Audrey and a little mad that she prevented us from leaving here sooner. "Okay thank you Doctor." I said as he left the room.

The second he left I snatched the remote from Parsen and turned off the tv. "What was that for?!" He shouted. "Seriously Parsen? You just had to make out with some crazy girl wearing a slutty nurse costume?" I asked. He started smirking.

"Why did you even do that?" I asked. Parsen was still smirking. "Do what?" He asked making sure to keep that smug smirk on his face. "Gosh Parsen! Why do you have to be so frustrating?!" I shouted. Parsen was still smirking. "Relax Gracie. Just relax so that you don't run any more people over."

If I could I would run Parsen over again. Instead I just stormed out of the room dragging Yoshua out with me. As soon as I left the room I saw Parsen's phone on the counter. I grabbed it. "Gracie darlin' are you calling that guy back?" "No Yoshua!" I said offended. "No I'm just grabbing his phone for him. Even if he is a total jerk."

Yoshua looked at me for a minute before responding. "Gracie you could cut him some slack. You did run him over and put him in the hospital." I sighed. Yoshua was right. I was just a little cranky because of being in this hospital for hours. "Okay.." I said.

Yoshua and I have been sitting in the chairs in the hallway outside of Parsen's room for about 30 minutes. Doctor George walked up to us. "Gracie, Yoshua I have some news." Yoshua and I stood up. Oh no, this couldn't be good.

"Parsen is fine from his accident however, we did find something else wrong with him." I looked at Yoshua too scared to listen to what the doctor had to say. "Doctor, whats wrong with Parsen?" Asked Yoshua. Doctor George looked at Yoshua and I then said "Parsen is pregnant."
