Yoshua and I decided to wait outside of Parsen's room while Doctor George told Parsen the news. Doctor George just walked out of the room leaving Parsen to marinade in his shock.
"He is surprisingly taking this news very well." Said Doctor George to Yoshua and I. "He even asked me if he can leave now to go buy clothes for the baby." Yoshua and I exchanged confused looks at each other. "Why would he buy clothes if he doesn't even know the gender of the baby yet?" Asked Yoshua.
Doctor George paused before speaking. "We know the sex of the baby. Parsen is eight months pregnant. He can have this baby anytime from right now to in a month." Yoshua and I were shocked. "But if he's eight months pregnant then why doesn't it even look like he has a baby?" I asked.
"Well, Parsen is very rare. He is a pregnant man. The baby is growing in his stomach, but the baby will start to gain weight and get bigger after he gives birth." Said the doctor. "This might sound odd but... How will Parsen give birth to the baby? I mean you can't shove a turkey through a lemon if you know what I mean." Said Yoshua awkwardly.
The doctor chuckled then got serious again. "Parsen will give birth to his child anally." Yoshua gasped. I just stood there in shock. "So um, what's the gender of the baby?" I asked trying to change the subject.
"Parsen is having a boy." The doctor said smiling. "Now, all of Parsen's tests are done so you can leave. The next time I see Parsen should be when it's time to have that baby. Have a good one!" The doctor said then walked away.
As Doctor George was walking away Parsen walked out of his hospital room. He put his clothes back on and he had a large smile on his face. "Hey Parsen! How are you feeling?" I said enthusiastically. Parsen lost his smiled and walked past me. Yoshua and I followed Parsen out into the parking lot.
"Hey, Parsen!" Yelled Yoshua. Parsen turned towards Yoshua looking him in the eyes. "Yes, Yoshua.." Said Parsen. "How do you plan on getting home?" Asked Yoshua worried about Parsen's bipolar behavior. Instead of responding Parsen just rolled his eyes. "I was thinking that you were taking me." Parsen said directing it towards Yoshua.
"I wish I could, but my truck is full of trappin' gear. I would have you ride in the bed, but the baby-" Parsen interrupted Yoshua "Don't mention that thing ever again!" Yelled Parsen. "I thought that you were excited about this baby?" I said confused. "I would have said anything for them to let me leave." He said harshly. Oh.
"Now come on!" Parsen yelled walking towards my car. "What do you think you're doing?" I asked. "Going home, and because you ran me over you will take me." "Get in." I said. It wouldn't hurt to help him after I ran him over.
I unlocked my car and Parsen got into the passenger's seat. "I'll talk to you later. Okay?" I said to Yoshua. "Yeah of course. Bye Gracie darlin'." Responded Yoshua while getting into his car.
I walked towards my car. I opened my door and got into my seat. After turning the car on, I asked Parsen where I should take him. "Just take me wherever you're going." What? What? What?
"No. You're going home. Now. Where do you live?" I said sternly. Parsen looked out the window dramatically. Oh gosh.. He is such a bipolar drama queen. When he didn't respond I asked again. "Parsen where do you live?" "My parents kicked me out. Some unnecessary drama happened back in California, so my parents kicked me out. Nobody wanted to help me. I had nowhere to go. So I bought the first bus ticket that was available, and it took me here."
I felt bad for Parsen. "Parsen, I'm sorry. I didn't know. Where do you want me to take you?" I asked. "I already told you." He said dryly. I'm already beyond done with his attitude. I gave in and drove to my house.
