I pulled into my driveway and immediately Parsen opened the car door on his side. I got out too. By the time I walked to the front door he was already waiting impatiently tapping his foot. Drama queen. I rolled my eyes at him and unlocked the door.

He followed me through the doorway. I sat on the couch and Parsen did the same. He was looking around my house. Probably thinking of things to make fun of later. He scoffed when his eyes found a picture of me from my first day of second grade.

I was in front of my school with a large smile on my face next to my best friend... Parsen. "So you do remember me?" Parsen asked. I rolled my eyes. "Yep." I said without showing any emotion. "So now that we have that cleared up I have a question for you?" I asked.

Parsen looked up. "What? And don't do any mushy crap asking if we're in love." He said harshly. "What? No. Honestly I don't understand how people like you in the first place. Anyways, I wanted to ask you something else." Parsen awaited my question.

"Who is zdaddy?" I asked. "What.. Wh- Where did you hear that name?" Parsen asked me shocked. I know I shouldn't have asked him but the curiosity was killing me. "When we were at the hospital we tried calling your family to let them know where you were and we came across the contact zdaddy. We thought that that was the contact for your dad so we called. And um... Well it definitely wasn't your dad."

Parsen shifted around in his seat. "Look his name is A. He owns a business that I commonly use." Ew. That's disgusting. "I don't need to know about that. Nevermind." Parsen looked confused. "You know this isn't a big deal. A lot of people use his service, it's just mainly children." Parsen said.

"What?! Why would children use that service? Wait, is A raping those children?!" I couldn't even settle on one question. There were millions flying through my mind. Parsen was beyond confused. "Gracie what are you talking about? A owns a bouncy house company called Happiness. He has other things like trampolines. His contact is zdaddy because he put that in my phone as a joke. He mainly works at children's parties, and he certainly doesn't rape kids."

I stood up from the couch. "Okay so A has a bouncy house company that you like to secretly use?" I asked confused. "Precisely." Responded Parsen. "Why would you keep that a secret then?" I asked. Parsen looked at me as if the answer was obvious. "Look I don't have a place to stay so sometimes I just rent out one of his bouncy houses and I use them to sleep under shelter for a couple hours."

Now I felt bad for him. I need to help him. Sure he can be a jerk, but we used to be friends. I can't believe the words I was about to say. "Parsen, my mom is going to be out of town a couple weeks for a business trip and if you want you can stay here until she gets back."

Instead of smiling Parsen just nodded. "That's what I was planning on doing anyways." He said then shrugged. I rolled my eyes.
