Chapter 18: Pratt

Today Chris Pratt was at the house and I was kind of excited to meet him. I loved him in Guardians of the Galaxy. But Cap is better! Emma was also excited. I looked through my closet for something to wear for today and tonight since we are going out to dinner with Pratt, his wife, and his son. I couldn't wait to meet Anna. I love the TV show 'Mom' I laugh all the time. So for today I threw on a pair of Chris's sweatpants and on of his shirts. His sweatpants are so comfy. I walked out into the living room and opened the fridge.
"Wow... Chris you weren't kidding when you said you had a beautiful fiancé" a voice said making me spin around to see Chris Pratt sitting on the couch next to Chris who had Emma on his lap.
"My clothes look good on you" Chris said smiling.
"I thought he was coming later" I said pointing to Pratt as I got out a cup of yogurt. Well two cups of yogurt.
"How far long?" Pratt asked.
"12 weeks!" I said getting a spoon from the drawer and walking over to the boys and Embug.
"Momma!" Emma said crawling over to me with a smile and sitting on my lap.
"Hey sweet pea!" I said taking off the cap of the yogurt.
"For 12 weeks you're showing a little bit" Pratt said.
"I'm fat" I said smiling as Emma slid off my lap to go play with her toys.
"By the time your 18 weeks or 20 you'll know the gender" Pratt said as I took a spoon full of yogurt and shoveled it into my mouth.
"I can't wait!" Chris said excitedly as I finished the cup of yogurt. Emma ran over with three plates of plastic food and handed a plate to our guest. She handed one to me and Chris with a proud smile.
"Thanks Embug" I said kissing her forehead. She waddled back over to her toys as Chris pretended to eat the food and hid it in the couch cushions. Pratt did the same with a smile. He must've done this before with his little boy. I gave my left over plastic food to Pratt and smiled as Emma cleaned up her toys and climbed back on Chris's lap. The three of us talked a little more until Anna called Pratt and he had to leave to get ready for tonight. We were all going out to dinner. And when I mean all of us I mean the Avengers cast and the Guardians of the Galaxy cast. So I would get to meet Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, and Lee Pace. Also I would get to meet the rest of the Avengers cast like Aaron Taylor Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, and Scarlett Johansson. I started looking through the closet again for something to wear but two arms wrapped around my waist and I felt a soft kiss on my shoulder.
"Can I pick out what you're gonna wear?" Chris hummed as he buried his face in my neck.
"Sure. You can help" I said as he smiled like a kid on his birthday. He gently pushed me out of the way and began to look through the closet. He pulled out a outfit that he thought was cute. I stared at him for awhile before giving in to those puppy dog eyes. I think I'll never win a fight against him. It took me a while but I finally got the dress on. I'm not that fat! Chris had taken the time to get Emma ready. I had curled her hair once she was dressed in her little dress. I grabbed her coat and helped her put it on. Chris gave me my coat with a smile before we headed out the front door towards the car. I buckled Emma into her car seat. I climbed into the front passenger side of the car beside Chris. Chris started the car and we left the house. Chris turned on the radio and the three of us started singing Disney songs like a bunch of kids. Emma laughed when Chris hit a high note and his voice cracked. I had to laugh at him. He gave me this look that I just couldn't help but laugh even more.
When we arrived at the restaurant, I helped Emma out of her car seat and picked her up balancing her on my hip. Chris got out of the car and took my hand in his. I looked around and saw the paparazzi. I poked Chris and he tightened the grip on my hand was we entered the building.
"DORITO!" Robert Downey Jr yelled as we walked through the door. Emma spotted Tom Hiddleston and begged me to let her down. Once I let her down she took off toward Tom.
"Loki!" She said with excitement before climbing onto her favorite villain's lap.
"Hi! You must be the famous Riley, Chris won't shut up about" said Scarlett as I sat down next to her. Chris sat down on the other side of me.
"Oh really! What has he said about me?" I asked making Chris's cheeks turn red.
"He says that he's loved you since you first met" Scarlett said.
"That's... Sweet" I said staring at Chris with a smile. I looked over and saw Emma playing peek-a-boo with Tom. I couldn't help but smile. I'm surprised he didn't have his own kids. Chris Hemsworth's kids were here. His daughter, India, was so cute! So was Jeremy's daughter, Ava. Pratt's son was adorable as well. I also got to talk to Anna Faris. She's such a nice person. Me and her are actually planning about going out to lunch. So were me and Scarlett. Of course Cobie would join us. Elizabeth Olsen agreed to joining the girls day. So did Zoe Saldana. Scarlett's daughter, Rose, was with her as well. Rose was so adorable! I couldn't help but smile at her. She smiled back at me. By the time our appetizer came, Emma was now on Robert Downey Jr's lap. She was stealing his bread roll.
"Hey!" Robert said jokingly as he turned her around so she was facing him. He puffed out his cheeks and she gently slapped them and he let the air out making her giggle. She split the roll in half and gave the one to Robert and she bit into the other half. Emma slid off his lap before running over to Chris. She climbed onto his lap and ate her bread roll. I wiped off her face with my napkin when she was done eating the bread. Chris bounced his knees slowly making Emma go up and down. She laughed as he did this. I couldn't help but laugh when Scarlett started to take a video. Emma smiled at the camera on Scarlett's phone and waved with excitement. Too cute. Once our food came, Emma was on my lap and picking through my fries and eating macaroni. Chris would sometimes reach over and sneak her a piece of Jeremy's desert that he ordered. Dave would make funny faces at Emma and she would make funny faces back in return. Soon Emma was back over with Tom and drawing a picture. I would be talking about random stuff with the girls. Anna would always say something funny which would leave us girls laughing. I looked around and noticed that Emma was now on Aaron Taylor Johnson's lap. He was talking about his character and she was probably in love with his accent. It was adorable.
Soon the night was over and we were home. Emma was laying in bed wearing a pair of Iron Man pjs. Robert bought her them for a late birthday present. She loved them. I had changed into sweatpants and a t-shirt. Emma was really tired. She had so much fun. I also put her picture that she drew with Tom on the wall. It was of the Cookie Monster. After she was asleep I exited the room and joined Chris in bed. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close. His warmth radiated off his body and I smiled into his chest.
"I love you" he hummed.
"I love you too" I hummed in reply as I soon found myself falling asleep.
