Chapter 23

A week went and Kai was released from the hospital. His mother though, had to stay a little longer in order for her knife stab to heal.

Kai went to school as usual only to have millions of question thrown into his face. He only said he got into an accident, not wanting to tell his classmates the truth.

Now It was only a day or more until his mother would be released and then everything will go back to what it was before, not but completely. This time will be different. Kai and his mom wouldn't have a crazy man in their house who tries to kill them everyday.

And a small plus in the edge is that after what he did, the contracts of the house and everything else who had his name has been re-written so now it's his mother who owns everything.

Which means they won't have to move at all. Which is a small plus in the edge, right?

Kai walked down his regular way to card capital and went in. Misaki was sitting at the desk as always. As it should be. Aichi and his mates are playing vanguard. As it should be. Miwa was sitting on a chair and jokes with Morikawa and Izaki. As it should be. The only missing piece was the brunette himself, who got known when said blonde felt his presence.

''Ah, Kai! Come over here, Morikawa said this really dumb joke you have to hear!'' laughed the blonde. Kai smiled and made his way over to his friends.

As it should be.
