Chapter 13: False Alarm!

      Lucy was in the restroom sweating. She was looking in the mirror. She checked her watch and then took a deep breath. She looked down and gasped at what she saw. She threw it in the trash a little harsh. She decided not to tell Ian until she confirms it. She splashed her face with water and then wiped her face. She walked out and greeted a shirtless Ian with a smile. "Are you okay?" Ian asked. "Fine." Lucy responded unconvincingly. Lucy layed down and cuddled next to Ian. Her head was on his chest and his arm was around her. He kissed the top of her head and then she fell asleep.
   Lucy woke up alone. She looked around and then sighed. She got up and got dressed. She's still thinking about the pregnancy test, and how it said positive. She's scared, but happy. She's trying not to be too happy because she knows it could be false, but she also can't stop being happy. A part of her is scared to be a mom, but the other half is happy and is ready to start a life with Ian. She's finally happy, she didn't think that could ever happen again. She doesn't know what to do, but she had to stay calm.
      She ran down the stairs with her ponytail flapping behind her. "Hey." Lucy greeted giving Ian a kiss, but he didn't kiss back. "What's wrong?" Lucy asked. "I was in the restroom this morning.... And I found, this." Ian stated holding up a positive pregnant test. "Ian...." Lucy started. "Don't." Ian stated and they looked at each other. "Were you going to tell me?" Ian asked crossing his arms. "I was going to wait til I checked it out to make sure. Naya was going to take me to my doctors appointment today." Lucy explained. "I'm sor...." Lucy started but Ian cut her off with a kiss. They pulled apart and their faces were inches away from each other. They smiled at each other. "I love you." Ian stated. "I love you too." Lucy agreed. They smiled and kissed passionately on the lips.
     Lucy was at the hosptal with Naya. She was on the bed waiting for the doctor to come back with the test results. Lucy was nervous yet excited. "So Ian's happy?" Naya asked. "I think so." Lucy replied with a sly smile. Naya grabbed Lucy's hand and squeezed it. "It'll be okay." Naya reassured and Lucy nodded in agreement. "You're meant to have kids, it just depends if its time or not." Naya added and Lucy nodded again.
      The doctor walked in with papers and their hands pulled apart. Lucy looked at the doctor l waiting for an answer. "So?" Naya asked grabbed Lucy's hand again. "You're not pregnant." The doctor stated and Lucy's face fell. Naya squeezed Lucy's hand again and hugged her.
    Naya took Lucy home and then went home herself. "Hey." Lucy greeted. "Hi!" Ian greeted standing up. "So?" Ian asked and Lucy was holding back tears. Lucy shook her head no and Ian sighed. He went up to her and hugged her. Lucy barried her head in his chest and cried. Ian layed his head on top of her head and calmed her down.
     The next day Maddie got home and greeted Jack with a kiss. "How was your day?" Maddie asked sitting down on his lap with a big smile on her face. "It's been good." Jack replied and Maddie nodded. "How was your day?" Jack asked. "Amazing!" Maddie exclaimed. "Really? What happened?" Jack asked with a smile. "I found out I'm pregnant." Maddie responded trying to act cool and trying to hold in the excitement. Jack and Maddie got up and they held hands. "Really?" Jack asked with a smile and Maddie nodded in agreement. They kissed passionately on the lips.
  A couple of hours later they told everyone. Everyone congratulated them and was happy for them. Lucy looked at Ian and Ian put on a fake smile for her. Ian walked up to her and gave her a hug and kiss on the lips. Then he kissed her on the top of her head reassuring her that everything will be okay, they will be okay.
