Chapter 16: New Life!

    It's been two years. Lucy, Naya, Heather, and Steven all live in a house in the middle of no where. Steven is Lucy's new boyfriend. Lucy does like him, but not like she did with Ian. She didn't like anyone the way she liked Ian, not even Den. She still has feelings for Ian but she suppresses it. Jack and Maddie lived in the house next to them and so does Monique. Then Nico lives in the house next to Jack and Maddie. Jack and Maddie had their baby and he is 1 and a half, his name is Tyler. James lives next to them too, he is part of the team now. Robin lives near them and is part of the team too. Samantha lives near them but is a cop, she's their only cop friend. Katerina lives near them and is also part of the team. Samantha is married to another cop named Leonardo, aka Leo. The team is now, Lucy, Steven, Naya, Heather, Jack, James, Monique, Robin, Nico, and Katerina.

    Naya just won a race and drove home with Lucy next to her. Lucy didn't compete, Naya still can't beat Lucy. They walked into their house and went into their rooms and went to bed.
    Lucy woke up and yawned. She was just in a bra and underwear. She grabbed Steven's shirt and put it on. She walked into the kitchen and started making coffee and breakfast for everyone, since they're all still asleep. She heard a knock on the door and wondered which member of her family it was. She opened the door and saw it was Jack. He was wearing jeans but didn't have a shirt on. "Could I borrow some sugar?" Jack asked. "Sure, come in." Lucy replied. Jack closed the door behind him as Lucy got the sugar. "How's Tyler?" Lucy asked. "Good. He's sleeping threw the night." Jack replied and Lucy smiled. Lucy handed Jack the sugar. "Thank you." Jack stated. "Anytime." Lucy stated and left.
     Everyone was eating breakfast in their houses. "Luc, could you pass the syrup?" Naya asked. Lucy threw the syrup to Naya and she caught it. Heather got up and walked over to refill her coffee mug. "Has Nico gotten a new job for us?" Heather asked as she sat back down. "No." Lucy replied and Heather nodded. They continued eating and had small talk.
  Lucy was standing on her porch outside when Naya joined her. "What are you thinking about?" Naya asked. "Just.... Life." Lucy replied and Naya nodded. They were watching the sunset. "I love our life!" Naya exclaimed and Lucy smiled. "You and me both." Lucy agreed. There was a moment of silence. "Have you thought about, you know who?" Naya asked and Lucy sighed. Lucy forced everyone to call Ian 'you know who' instead of his name because she doesn't want to hear it. "I'm sorry." Naya apologized. "Don't, it's fun. It's about time I talk about him. I haven't talked about him since I told you that he was a cop. I do think about him, unfortunately. I guess it's time to accept that I still have feelings for him." Lucy explained and Naya nodded. "But.... He never really loved me." Lucy added and Naya gave her a hug. After the sun set they went inside and to bed and fell asleep.

     Lucy heard something so she woke up. She had nothing on so she put on Stevens shirt. She walked out in the living room but didn't see anyone. She peeked open Naya and Heathers door and saw that they were still fast asleep and it appeared they were naked, but had a cover on them. She looked at the clock on the microwave and saw it was midnight. There was a knock on the door again and Lucy sighed. Lucy opened the door and her eyes widened and her jaw dropped. She couldn't believe who she saw. She felt tears forming in her eyes and it was getting hard to contain them. "Ian?" Lucy asked. "Hello, Lucy." Ian greeted.
      Lucy slammed the door in his face and turned around. But he opened the door and walked in. "I've been secretly tracking you for a long time now." Ian stated. "And you just found me?" Lucy asked as she still had her back facing him. "Did you want me to find you?" Ian asked with smirk. "Of course not!" Lucy replied as she finally turned around to face him. Ian's smirk turned into a frown and his eyes started watering. They just starred into each others eyes, not saying anything. Naya and Heather walked out in robes and Steven came out in only pants. "What's going on?" Steven asked and they turned their focus to the people who just came out. "Oh my gosh." Heather stated. Naya and Heather both walked up and in front of Lucy. "Stay away from her." Naya stated. Steven came over and wrapped his arm around her. Ian looked hurt by that. "Who's this, baby?" Steven asked and Ian felt his heart start to break. "Ian." Lucy croaked. "Get out of here!" Steven demanded. "Lucy...." Ian started. "Don't talk to her!" Steven exclaimed. "I thought you were the kind of person who didn't listen to anyone, who took charge, and didn't let anyone protect you? What happened to the real you?" Ian asked. Lucy got out of Stevens embrace and in front of Naya and Heather. "I'm still here. I've just been feeling broken because of you. I don't need anyone to tell me what to do or for then to protect me." Lucy explained. Lucy and Ian were inches from each other. "Then what do you want?" Ian asked. "First, tell me why you're here. Then, leave." Lucy stated and Ian nodded. "I'm here because I'm in love with you and hurting you has hurt me over the past two years." Ian explained and Lucy rolled her eyes. "And.... I have a job for you." Ian added and Lucy looked at him. "What type of job?" Lucy asked. "Undercover." Ian replied and they all looked at him weary and unsure.
   They all followed him to his car and saw a girl in police cuffs. "This girl is named Bianca Williams. She's planning something and I need you to pretend to be her. She owns this building and had a bunch of workers, who she calls minions. They do whatever she says without questions because they're afraid of her and she'll kick their ass if they don't." Ian explained and Lucy took a deep breath. "Are you in?" Ian asked. "Lucy." Naya stated. "I'm in." Lucy stated and Ian smiled and Naya sighed. "Do you need anything from my family?" Lucy asked. "There are video cameras everwhere and I made a little cottage that's just a mile away from here and it has computers that show every video camera. We could use a few smart people in this operation to work those. I even have a little bug, it goes in your ear and you can hear what they saw so they can warn you about things. This will work so well because no one knows what Bianca looks like. I found out that she just fired her assistant and her second in command, so you'll need those. Rumor has it they two are the only two who ever knew what she looked like. You'll also need two undercover delivery guys and two people who you hired two minions of your own to keep an eye on Bianca's minions." Ian explained and Lucy nodded. "Heather is my assistant. Naya is my second in command. Jack and Nico will be my undercover minions. James will watch the security cameras. Maddie will tell me what to do and not to do threw my speaker. Monique and Robin will be my delivery guys." Lucy explained and Ian nodded. "Get them ready, we start in the morning." Ian stated and then left, along with everyone else.
