Just Hanging Out

Addy woke up before anyone the next morning.
Right when she woke up she got a text fringed only school friend, Jack.
"Hey Ads, wanna hang- J"
"Sure!:) When?- A"
"Umm... An hour?- J"
"Where?-A"
"The park? Heard there was gonna be some cute guys there later ;)-J"
Addy laughed, he most definitely was her GBF. She got another text from Jack,
"Oh wait you'll be too busy thinking about Jensen to even notice!XD-J"
"SHUT UP NOT TRUE!!-A"
"SO TRUE!-J"
"Ugh whatevs, see you in an hour I have to get ready-A"
Addy god ready. She put on her olive green ripped jeans and a plain black v-neck. Then she brushed her teeth and straightened her hair.
By the time she was done getting ready Gen was up.
"Morning sweetie! Where are you going?" Gen asked kindly.
"To go hang out with Jack, is that alright?" Addy replied.
"Yeah that's fine, but don't take too long, your father has to talk to you." Gen said, making Addy's heart drop.
"Uhh okay." Addy said, "I won't be too long."
Addy put on her white converse and left.
She had to walk so when she got there Jack was already there.
"Hey girl!" Jack yelled as Addy walked towards him.
"Hey!" Addy yelled in reply.
They hugged and then started talking. Jack sensed that Addy was unnerved.
"What's wrong?" Jack said.
"What?" Addy replied, startled.
"You're obviously upset about something! Did your dad say something?" Jack asked.
"No, but he's going to when u get home." Addy replied.
"Explain." Jack said, sassy as always.
"Before I left my mom said that when I get back my dad wants to talk to me. I just hope he's not staging another intervention." Since Addy and Jack were best friends she told him all about on the phone last night.
"Oh honey I'm sure he's not! It's okay!" Jack said, trying to comfort Addy.
Right at that moment Addy got a text... From Jensen.
"What are you doing rn??-JA"
"With Jack at the park. Why?-A"
"Get your asses over here!-JA"
"Damn chill! Why?-A"
"I'm bored.-JA"
Addy turned to Jack,
"Hey wanna go to Jensen's? He wants us to come over for some reason." Addy asked Jack.
"Yeah sure lets go!" Jack replied.
They walked to Jensen's. The whole time they were both wondering- what the hell is going on?
