She'd always been afraid of bridges, but she's always been more afraid of being alone. Now she was all alone. She had nobody. She was mad at her family, she had moved away from all her friends, and now Jensen has someone new.
She said to herself, "It's now or never...", and started trying to conquer her fear.
It was a small bridge, made of wood. It seemed sturdy enough.
She started by simply driving over it; seemed easy enough. She got through that quickly, and then decided it was time to walk over the bridge. She stepped out of the car very hesitantly, she was nervous as hell. She'd never walked on a bridge in her entire 16 years of life. She started walking, right foot first. She took slow, steady steps. She reached the start of the bridge. Slowly, she put her right foot on the bridge, then her left.
"Holy hell," she thought to herself, "I'm doing it! I'm walking over a bridge!", that part she said out loud. No one else was around, so why not.
Finally, she had made it to the other end of the bridge. She was proud of herself, she'd done something she'd always been terrified to do. She never really knew why she was scared of bridges, she just always had been. She'd always just thought something probably happened in a past life; she believes all fears come from something that happened in a past life. She never thought much into what happened though, that scared her. She didn't want to know what horrible events may have happened to her in other life.
She walked back over the bridge to her car. She got in and let out a sigh of relief. "I did it! I fucking did it!", Addy yelled to herself.
She started her drive home, not thinking about Jensen, not thinking about how mad she was at her family, not really thinking about anything but the road. She reached home in what seemed like a few minutes even though it was probably about an hour. When she got there, there was another car in the driveway. She thought she'd recognized it, but she couldn't quite put her finger on where from. She walked in the house and suddenly realized who's car it
was...
