a few months later and we started talking over email.
we started to catch each other up on what was happening in our lives.
after a couple months of talking over email, i saw you at my mom's work.
i wanted to say hi so badly, but my mom told me days before that if i ever saw you in a store to walk past and pretend like i didn't know you.
like i didn't know your every secret.
like i didn't go to your house so many times.
like i didn't remember all the times that we had our laughs.
like i didn't remember us.
but we weren't able to forget.
