Episode 9 An Unexpected Battle

Martin and Sonic sprinted through Metal Harbor and Sonic acquired some special shoes that allowed him to sprint through the rings and He grabbed Martin's hand as they sprinted through 2 rows of rings and landed on a military area. With dozens of robots shooting at them as they ran through them. Sonic had a smile on his face, happy for adventure. While Martin almost screamed like a girl. ''Ahhhhhh I will never get used to this!'' Martin yelled. 

''Don't you just love adventure?'' Sonic asked. ''No!'' Martin yelled. They went up a circle shaped platform and back down which made Martin Dizzy. ''Hang in there we're almost there'' Sonic said. Sonic launched off of a ramp to a area where a ship was getting ready to take off. ''Time to take off in 5-4-3-'' The man said. ''Just kill me now'' Martin sighed. They sprinted up the way toward the ship and grabbed onto it and it launched in the air. ''Nevermind! I was kidding! don't kill us!'' Martin yelled. Sonic laughed. ''You're funny, let's gooooo'' Sonic said as he jumped through the rocket ship. 

Sonic took off pieces of the rocket ship to make a snowboard and they jumped their way down into a vent below them. ''I don't know how to snowboard or anything with the word 'board' in it'' Martin said. Martin grabbed rings and so did Sonic. They were challenging each other without saying anything, they were taking a lot of rings to see who could take the most. ''I win!'' Martin yelled. Martin was distracted and almost fell in the water below but Sonic quickly caught him and jumped to the platform across from them. 

Martin rubbed his head in shame. ''Heh, thanks'' Martin said. ''Don't feel bad, you did great in my book!'' Sonic said. ''You really think so? um.. thanks'' Martin cheered. They went to the huge ring in front of them and a hud came down and Martin flinched again. ''It won't hit you'' Sonic said. ''Heh I knew that'' Martin said. Martin and Sonic saw Amy behind them. ''How did you get here?!'' Sonic asked. ''I have my ways'' Amy said. ''Just tell me'' Sonic said. ''Fine, I came here by Tails, I was supposed to rescue you but I guess things never go as planned'' Amy cried. 

Martin felt bad. ''I'm sorry, Amy'' Martin said. Martin wanted to give Amy a hug but he didn't think she needed one. ''Who are you?'' Amy asked. ''I'm Martin, I'm new here, I don't even know how I got here, I have to get back home'' Martin said. ''Well, I'm here to help, I'm Amy, Amy Rose, pleasure to meet you'' Amy said. ''The pleasure's all mine'' Martin said. Amy blushed and giggled. Sonic's face was getting red. ''Hey! stop it you two!'' Sonic yelled. ''I think I hear jealousy'' Martin said. Amy giggled more. ''I'm not jealous! we have to get to that Island before it's too late!'' Sonic yelled.

They caught a ride by Tails, they flew to the Island and they split up again. ''Martin, you have to go on your own this time, we must search for the emeralds and I would say Eggman must be here as well'' Sonic informed. Martin was nervous and didn't know where to start. Martin started to shake uncontrollably and Sonic grabbed his hand and he paused. ''Look, you got this, remember this, a hero isn't always the one who saves the day it's the one who is nervous and fights anyway'' Sonic said. Martin started to realize what he meant. ''You're right!'' Martin agreed. 

''Ok everyone split up! go now!'' Sonic said. Every split up and headed in different directions. Martin was running through the forest in and as he was running he saw a glow in the distance and headed towards it. As he reached his hand out to grab it, his hand was smacked and he backed away. ''What?'' Martin asked himself. ''It's mine!'' A boy said. ''Braden?! you sent me here didn't you?!'' Martin yelled. ''No! why would I do that, I'm surprised I didn't kill you yet'' Braden yelled. ''And why haven't you?!'' Martin yelled. ''Because i must get the chaos emeralds for my master!'' Braden yelled. Braden reached for it and Martin attempted to kick Braden but Braden dodged it and backed up. ''If I can't have it, then none of us will!'' Martin yelled.

''Don't put this on yourself buddy, I can always kill you anytime'' Braden said. ''I won't die!'' Martin yelled. ''You're just as weak as Kaitlyn'' Braden said. Martin crushed his fists together. ''You better bite your tongue before I rip it off!'' Martin yelled. ''Oh I'm so scared'' Braden said. ''I'm not kidding'' Martin said. Martin swung at Braden several times and never landed one blow. ''It's a shame how you try me so much, I don't even try and yet you still miss'' Braden said. ''Don't get cocky, It lowers down your guard!'' Martin yelled. Martin was starting to get tired and Braden let him take a break so maybe he can give him a challenge. 

''I will make this a fair fight, I'll tell you that much'' Braden said. Sonic was running through the forest as well and he got some special gear that allows him to roll into a ball with blue aura flying around him to build up momentum and when built it can create a chain of attacks in an instant, the only way to know if it's finished it if is says 'ready! go!'. Sonic was stopped as well and he ran into a familiar face that he once met in the city. ''Hey that's-'' Sonic said. ''That blue hedgehog again of all places'' Shadow said. 

''I found you, faker!'' Sonic said. ''Faker? I think you're the fake hedgehog around here, you're comparing yourself to me? heh! you're not even good enough to be my fake'' Shadow said. ''I'll make you eat those words!'' Sonic yelled. ''You won't even get the chance'' Shadow said. Shadow flipped off a platform onto the ground where Sonic was and started to jump towards him. ''Vanish!'' Shadow yelled!.
