Episode 21 Tears Shed and Big Explosions

Cody and Braden were fighting nonstop and their fists were being put to the test. ''I looked forward to us fighting once again, I always knew that we'd  become friends'' Cody grinned. ''Heh! we aren't friends! you see I'm only buying time! but you are a interesting fighter'' Braden said. ''I haven't fought anyone quite like you, fighting you is different than fighting other people'' Cody said. They pushed each other's fist back while in the air and landed on the platform. ''I guess In some ways I can agree, you aren't like many fighters, but don't take that as a compliment!'' Braden yelled. Cody laughed and Braden was getting irritated. ''You Idiot!'' Braden yelled.

Cody saw another explosion In the distance and he started to move but quickly stopped. ''You're not leaving until I kill you!''Braden yelled. They ran at each other once more and punched each other in the gut. ''Urgh!'' They yelled. Cody touched Braden's shoulder and used a power that leaves the opponent paralyzed for a moment to escape. As he was making his way to the location of the huge explosion he looked back and grinned. ''This Is not the last time we'll meet In battle'' Cody grinned. Braden stood there with one eye closed and his mouth whimpering In pain. ''When I find you!'' Braden yelled. Cody headed to the Eggship and as he was headed there he saw Tails and Amy. He was making his way up to them Inside the ship. 

Tails was protecting Amy. ''I won't let you hurt her!'' Tails yelled. ''You again huh, that stupid fox Is back at It again'' Eggman said. ''Sonic! where are you!'' Amy cried. Tails was fighting Eggman and Cody was heading up the stairs. Eggman and Tails stopped and looked at the person who interrupted them both. ''You're here!'' Amy cheered. ''Enough talk Eggman, you're not hurting anyone this Eggshow's over'' Sonic said. ''Mwahahaha! you think I didn't expect that?! I have plenty of back up plans'' Eggman yelled. ''Well I've been through some things to get here, so I'm not letting that go to waist Egghead'' Sonic said. Eggman pointed his gun at Amy and Amy covered her face.

''Hand over the emerald! or else'' Eggman threatened. ''Handing over the fake emerald I can kill 2 birds with 1 stone'' Sonic said under his breath. Tails looked him In the eye. ''Put the emerald right there and back off!'' Eggman pointed to a hole for the emerald to go in. Sonic grinned and walked to the middle of the ship. ''You've turned Into a big time villain doctor'' Sonic grinned. Eggman laughed when Sonic went to the middle of the small circle and Sonic was shocked. The capsule closed with Sonic Inside of It and he was trapped. 

''You thought you could trick me, with that fake emerald didn't you?'' Eggman asked. ''So how did you know It wasn't the real one?'' Tails asked. ''Tails!'' Sonic yelled. ''Because you just told me fox boy!'' Eggman yelled. Sonic started to realize It was impossible to escape and gave Tails and Amy his last words. ''I'm counting on you Tails, and Amy, take care of yourself'' Sonic said. ''Farewell Sonic the Hedgehog!'' Eggman yelled. The capsule shot out the Eggship and Into space. ''Sonic!'' Amy cried. Sonic was remembering what Tails was saying to him back at the pyramid. ''It has the same wavelength and properties... but it's less powerful than the real one'' Tails said(in flashback). (The same wavelength and properties, but can I do this?) Sonic thought. 

The capsule exploded In outer space. Amy started to shed tears. ''Sonic!'' Amy cried. ''Now you have one last chance to hand over the emerald and I'll let you 2 go, you have my promise'' Eggman said. ''No! Sonic has asked me to do something for him, for the first time! and I won't let him down!'' Tails said. Tails and Eggman were going at it, fighting and shooting at each other using their self made robots. Knuckles meanwhile was standing in a place that looked to be purple and he saw a bright light and shielded his eyes. ''I feel some strange energy'' Knuckles pointed out. 

It was Sonic and he looked to have been laying down and slowly floating to the ground. Knuckles helped Sonic up. ''Sonic?'' Knuckles said. ''I wasn't sure I was able to pull that one off, I managed to use chaos control'' Sonic said. ''Chaos control?'' Knuckles asked. Sonic was out of It for a moment before picking himself back up. ''Are you ok?'' Knuckles asked. ''I'm worried about Tails and Amy, I hate to ask but could you help them?'' Sonic asked. ''This is our last chance'' Sonic continued. ''I got It, before the cannon fires, I'll slam dunk It In there!'' Sonic ran.  Sonic headed to through a area called Final Rush and he was grinding on rails to get to his next location. 

Cody finally made his way up to the door and he saw Tails and Eggman going at It. ''I'll stop you right there!'' Cody yelled. Cody leaped and made his feet get in contact with Eggman's face. ''Cody!'' Tails cheered. Amy was looking out the window still hoping that maybe Sonic was still alive. Eggman fell was unable to move. ''Grrrr! stupid little-'' Eggman yelled. Cody looked out the window as well. He saw Sonic when the capsule exploded and heard Amy yelling Sonic. ''I'm sorry Amy, but let me tell you something, don't let his death be In vein, you're a tough girl and I believe In you'' Cody wiped the tears off of Amy's face. ''You really think so?'' Amy asked. ''I know so, after all you are Sonic number 1 fan right?'' Cody asked. 

Amy wiped her face and smiled. ''Right!'' Amy agreed. Cody looked at Tails and Tails wasn't looking too bright either. ''Tails, It's ok to cry, but when you're done you make sure that you get up stronger!'' Cody said. ''I know, but I just always wanted to show Sonic that I can be strong and make him proud. ''He Is proud, I don't know what his last words were but what I do know Is that you showed him already, you're protecting what you believe Is right, and I support you no matter what!'' Cody said.
