Episode 27 Sorrow

Sonic made his way back to the ship where Tails and Eggman fought and he saw Tails, Eggman, and Knuckles next to Rouge the bat. ''Where's Shadow?'' Rouge asked. ''...'' Sonic looked down in sadness. Sonic handed Rouge Shadow's ring. ''Do you really believe that the professor created him. Shadow to carry out the revenge on all those out there on earth?'' Rouge asked. ''He was what he was. A brave and heroic hedgehog, he gave his life to save the planet. Shadow the hedgehog'' Sonic said. ''I guess you're right'' Rouge agreed. 

Sonic started to worry. ''Cody!'' Sonic remembered. ''What about him?'' Rouge asked. ''He saved me and he had someone with him that deactivated the timer above my head'' Sonic said. After Sonic and Shadow used chaos control to save the planet Cody and Manic went out in space to save Sonic from exploding from his timer almost running out. Manic used a hand sign to unseal the curse that was put on Sonic and Manic grabbed Cody and Manic grabbed Kaitlyn and Martin and opened a portal and they went back to Mortagus. Sonic looked at his hand and balled his fists up in sorrow. ''Cody, I feel that maybe in some way, you and Shadow changed me and you as well Tails'' Sonic said. 

Sonic covered his sadness up with a grin and smiled big. ''Well, time to get going guys! I can't wait for our next adventure!'' *sniffs nose* Sonic grinned. Sonic and the others headed back to earth and continued to plan out their next adventure. When Cody and the others made it back to the school everything seemed to have settled down. Manic took his students back to the training area and laid Kaitlyn and Martin on the ground while Cody stood next to them. Manic was in front of them. ''Get up Kaitlyn, we all know that you're ok now'' Manic said. Kaitlyn quickly got up and brushed the dirt off her clothes. 

''I do not get paid enough for this'' Kaitlyn said. Cody was shocked to see her get up so fast. ''Woah! I thought you 2 were 'hurt''' Cody said. ''Well I was but when you guys were helping Sonic I got up because the hallucinations wore off and I healed Martin. ''So Martin's ok too? why didn't he get up then?'' Cody asked. ''Because, my body is so tired and worn out'' Martin said. ''If she healed you wouldn't that mean that your energy is back as well?'' Cody asked. Martin got up and brushed the dirt off his pants. ''Not really'' Martin said. 

''You guys did a great job, and though I may have not saw it for myself, I know that you guys put up a good fight'' Manic smiled. ''Huh? are you smiling? and not trying to test us???'' Cody asked. ''Hahaha! funny one you! don't tempt me'' Manic said. Cody quickly changed his face. ''Right sir!'' Cody said. Manic had one hand behind his back and his other hand was in front of his stomach. ''Kaitlyn, you fought someone in the Legend of Zelda universe, am I correct?'' Manic asked. ''Yes'' Kaitlyn said. ''He seemed to be someone we've been looking for. For a very long time'' Manic said. ''Really??? he almost killed me and Jet, speaking of... where are they?'' Kaitlyn asked. ''I ran into them before I caught up to Cody and the others, I sent both Jet and some girl back to Mortagus'' Manic said. 

''We really need one of those watches, and I still have a mission to complete'' Kaitlyn began to remember. ''Oh yeah... Zelda and Link were taken to another universe while were passed out'' Martin said. Kaitlyn started to push her hands together and magic began to circle around her hands. ''Haaaaaaa!'' Kaitlyn yelled. ''Kaitlyn calm down, this is not a time to be reckless'' Martin said. ''You shouldn't have said that Martin'' Manic said. ''Why? she's not that powerful hehe'' Martin grinned. Kaitlyn blasted Martin into the nearby forest and he was airborne for a bit before plummeting to the ground and smashing the trees. 

''This is why people shouldn't underestimate me so much'' Kaitlyn said. ''I'm glad you did that, because that's our next mission location'' Manic said. Manic and Kaitlyn began to walk and Cody stood there shocked for a moment. ''You coming?'' Kaitlyn asked. ''Um.... *clears throat* yes'' Cody said nervously. ''Don't worry, I won't launch you in the forest unless you really get on my nerves hehe'' Kaitlyn smiled. (She's gone mad) Cody thought. Cody followed as they headed to the nearby forest. As they were walking pass several trees Cody started to wonder where Martin could have possibly been.

''Kaitlyn, you have got to calm your powers down a bit'' Cody said. ''But why? He's such an pain in the butt'' Kaitlyn said. ''Because now we have two missions, looking for him and some other mission that Manic will soon announce'' Cody said. They saw a huge explosion in the distance that caught up to them and pushed them back as the trees began to fall. Cody and Kaitlyn got up and noticed Manic was no where to be found. ''Sensei!'' Cody yelled. A huge piece of wood with fire on the edge was headed towards them.

Cody and Kaitlyn didn't have enough time to move or think so they shielded their eyes using their arms. When the wood almost hit them it suddenly stopped and the fire from the front of the wood was gone and it looked like a small water shield was blocking it. Cody and Kaitlyn put their arms down and saw Manic in front of them. ''Manic!'' Kaitlyn cheered. ''Yay but what about Martin?'' Cody asked. ''We'll have to find him some how'' Manic said. The forest began to sizzle with fire spreading slowly around it. The three saw a man standing in front of them with his hand out. Cody felt something strange about him. Cody felt time slow down for a moment before breathing and saw a huge blast coming at him. 

Manic tried to grab Cody but he wouldn't move and Manic had no choice but to take Kaitlyn and retreat. Cody was blasted and flew in the air somewhere in the forest.
